Thinking about the Future: Part 2

==========

The date is August 16th, 2016; just one day before the superstars of Supreme Championship Wrestling return to action following the monumental, historic night that was Rise To Greatness.  For many, it will be the beginning of a new era.  For some, it will be a chance to hit a reset button on their career.  For Kayla Jones, though, it will be time for her to pretend that the events leading up to Rise To Greatness never happened as she returns to something much more familiar, something she realizes that she never should have left to begin with…

…The Sisterhood.

Kayla and her older sister Angelica had both been professional wrestlers since the early 2000s but their tenure as a tag team began back in 2009 in Motor City Wrestling where they challenged The Sons of MCW to become MCW World Tag Team Champions.  It would only be a beginning as they would go on to win gold in nearly every company where they both competed in.  They ended up in Global Division of Wrestling together and became GDW World Tag Team Champions.  They would travel together to Global Championship Wrestling where they would win the GCW Global Tag Team Championship.  But perhaps their greatest accomplishment to date as a tag team would be defeating Standing Room Only for the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

Clearly they had something good going for them.  Clearly they were an amazing tag team.  What prompted them to break up?  Perhaps it was ego and pride, but the siblings didn’t get into professional wrestling to be a great tag team.  They got into this sport to be the best wrestlers in the world period.  Their pride encouraged them to pursue individual singles careers, their pride encouraged them to risk it all and cast The Sisterhood aside.

Angelica would go after Miller and Ace Marshall and the SCW Television Championship before eventually accepting the challenge of Justin Davis at Rise To Greatness.  Kayla Jones would also seek out the Television title before being entered in a Women’s Championship contender’s match at Rise To Greatness.  It seemed as if both women had gotten off to a decent enough start in their singles careers within SCW…

…but looks can be deceiving.

Angelica Jones did win her match at Rise To Greatness, but Kayla failed in her bid to become number one contender to the SCW Women’s Champion.  Furthermore, Kayla seemed to have no real true desire or motivation to continue a pursuit of a singles career.  She felt motivated to reunite with Angelica and to reform The Sisterhood.  And it wasn’t due to a lack of success.  Kayla looked on at what was going on in the tag team division and she felt it needed something to contain the chaos that was running rampant, chaos created by the likes of Chad Evans and Money in the Bank.

It needed The Sisterhood.

And on top of all of that, Kayla and Angelica’s pride were also playing a role here.  Not only did Kayla believe that SCW’s tag team division need them to a degree, but both siblings agreed that they were wrong for just giving up on the quest for tag team championship glory after losing to Gable and Autumn at Taking Hold of the Flame.  Instead of giving up, they should have kept fighting.  That was their mistake.

But now they have an opportunity to correct that mistake, to fix that error in judgment. Angelica and Kayla are reunited as The Sisterhood in SCW and they are entered in a tournament to crown new number one contenders for the SCW World Tag Team Championship.  Their first opponents in the tournament could possibly be the biggest challenge…

…Shaun Cruze and AJ Helms, better known as Honour Code.

Cruze is a former world champion and that alone speaks of how good he is.  AJ Helms may be new but he has all of the talent in the world to get the job done.  The fact that he has a Trios contract is evidence enough of that.  Angelica and Kayla do have one advantage over them and that is experience as a tag team as well as the natural chemistry that comes with being sisters.  They hope that advantage will give them an edge against Cruze and Helms, a pair of singles athletes who have had little experience as a tag team.

Regardless, win or lose, there seems to be an air of happiness, even joy, permeating the air around the sisters Angelica and Kayla nearly everywhere they go lately.  It’s been that way ever since they decided to reunite The Sisterhood.  And for Kayla, it is only an extra added addition to her already overjoyed state.

Kayla Jones, single mother of twins after a very rough break up with her now ex-boyfriend Andreas Lasiewicz, hadn’t had much to be happy about for a couple of years until, just last year, while competing for Global Championship Wrestling, she met a man named Trenton Snow…

…the man who walks with her and her sister Angelica Jones into the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seattle, Washington.  It’s just twenty-four hours before SCW Breakdown and the threesome are returning from a night on the town.  The younger Jones sibling is wearing a red shimmering crew neck short sleeve sheath cocktail dress that features allover sequins.  Her feet are encased in strappy black high heeled sandals.  She is arm in arm with her boyfriend Trenton Snow, who wears a button up silk white shirt, black pants, and black shoes.  On the other side of Trenton is Angelica Jones, the elder Jones sibling.  Angelica is wearing a black petite v-neckline sleeveless dress that features a stunning lace overlay at the bust and a flattering tiered skirt that finishes with a tulip style hem.  Her feet are encased in black high heeled pumps.

The lobby of the Grand Hyatt is rather quiet at this time of night.  The only other person here is the receptionist, a young blonde woman.  The only noise being created is by the trio who just entered this building.  The laughter coming from their lips tells the story about how happy they are…

“That comedian was great!”

Angelica shoots Trenton a curious gaze after he made that exclamation.  She then smirks.

“Which comedian?  The dork on the stage or me?”

Trenton chuckles lightly.

“You, of course.”

“Awww, you say the sweetest things!”

Angelica looks at Kayla and winks.

“You boyfriend is sweet.  Can I have him?”

“Nope…”

Kayla shakes her head and then embraces Trenton in a hug.  After breaking the hug she kisses him on the cheek.  Kayla then turns and stares knowingly at Angelica with a confident grin.

“…he’s all mine.”

Angelica playfully pouts as she puts her hands on her hips.

“But we’re sisters.  Sisters are supposed to share.”

“I’m not sharing my boyfriend with you!”

“Ladies, ladies…”

Trenton interjects as he steps in between Angelica and Kayla.

“…there’s plenty of me to go around.”

Kayla’s face contorts into a look of disgust.

“Ewww!”

“What?”

“I am NOT sharing you with her!”

Angelica smirks.

“Oh and why not?”

“Don’t you think there is something inherently wrong with sharing your boyfriend?”

Angelica shrugs her shoulders.

“I don’t know, Kay, but why don’t we ask Corey?  You know Corey, right?  She’s my daughter and that makes her Paige and Duncan’s cousins…”

Kayla glares angrily at Angelica as she can see where this is going.  Angelica smirks knowingly as she continues anyway.

“…or would they be her half-siblings?”

If looks could kill, more than likely Angelica would be dead by now due to the death stare Kayla is directing her way.  Angelica was married to Andreas Lasiewicz for many years before they split up and later Andreas Lasiewicz began dating Kayla Jones, Angelica’s sister.  It was definitely an awkward time for the sisters, one that Angelica will not soon let Kayla forget.

Trenton Snow has been staying out of the sisters’ argument up until now when he can no longer hold back his chuckling.  When Kayla hears him, she directs her death stare right at him as well.

“What’s so funny?”

Trenton smiles sheepishly.

“Umm….nothing?”

“Good answer.”

“Look, why don’t we take care of this another time…”

Angelica motions to the receptionist, who has been silent this entire time, but who cannot help but hear them air their dirty laundry out in this empty and yet very public place.

“…because, I mean, we have an audience.”

Kayla sighs and nods her head.

“You have a good point, sis.”

Kayla grabs Trenton by the hand.  She squeezes it tightly and looks up into his eyes, smiling.

“Shall we?”

“Yes, lets.”

Angelica rolls her eyes.

“I think I’m going to be sick.”

With that, Angelica leads the way with Kayla and Trenton following closely behind as they head towards the elevators.  Once they get there Angelica immediately presses the button and waaits patiently for the elevator doors to open.  When they do finally open, the three individuals step inside and Angelica presses the number “2”.  The doors close shut and the elevators begin to move.  It goes from Ground floor to 1st Floor and finally to the 2nd floor before coming to a stop.  The doors open and Angelica steps out first, again leading the way as Kayla and Trenton follow closely behind.

The threesome turn to the right and begin to walk down the hall.  They follow the numbers on the doors…201, 202,  203, 204, and on and on, passing few other hotel guests along the way until finally they arrive at room 207.  Angelica turns to face Trenton and Kayla and sigh.

“Well this is my stop.  Will I see you tomorrow, Kayla?”

Kayla nods her head.

“Definitely.  We have an autograph signing early tomorrow before SCW Breakdown.”

Angelica rolls her eyes.

“Ugh, don’t remind me.”

“They are our fans, sis.”

“But they smell bad.”

“We are contracted to appear.”

“Again, please don’t remind me.”

“Whatever.  I’ll be here to pick you up in the morning, ok?”

“Right, sure…”

Angelica takes her key card out and slides it into the door.  She hears it clicking, signaling that the door is now unlocked.  She pushes the door open and then steps inside, shutting the door behind her.  Meanwhile Kayla and Trenton walk over to the very next room next to Angelica, room 209.  Trenton takes out his key card and slips it inside, unlocking it.  He pushes it open and then in a sudden motion he bends over and picks up Kayla into his arms.

“Whoa!  Trenton?”

He smirks.

“Allow me to carry you across the threshold.”

Trenton carries Kayla into the room.  Once inside he lies her down on the king sized bed.  Though Kayla doesn’t stay there long.  She quickly swings her feet over to the side of the bed and sits up and stares at Trenton, frowning curiously.

“Not that I’m complaining, babe, but what was that about?”

Trenton doesn’t answer.  Instead he leans over and kisses her passionately on the lips.  This takes her by complete surprise.  After the kiss ends Kayla is at a loss for words.

“Umm….uh….”

“Was that good?”

Kayla nods her head.

“Uh-huh…”

“Want another one?”

“Uh…yeah…”

Trenton leans in and kisses her again in yet another passionate kiss.  This time when the kiss is broken Kayla laughs lightly.

“Trenton, babe, I’m not complaining, really I’m not, but what’s the deal?  You’re usually not like this so late at night.”

“What’s the deal?”

Trenton takes her by her hands, squeezing them tightly.  He stands up and pulls her to her feet.

“You’re the deal.”

Kayla furrows her brow out of noticeable confusion.

“Huh?”

“You and Angelica have been speaking frequently about how you made a mistake in leaving the tag team division to try SCW singles action.  You didn’t realize what you had until you lost it.  But you both were lucky because you got it back, you got to reunite The Sisterhood and return to the tag team division.  Now you are two victories away from a tag team championship match.”

Kayla nods her head, though the look on her face says that she is still confused and does not know where Trenton is going with this.

“Yeah, that’s right.  We have Honour Code.  Then if we win we face Daughters of Darkness or Punk Hazard.”

“And I’m sure you and your sister will do great, but even if you girls don’t win, you still have what you want.  You are The Sisterhood again.  And that makes you happy, just because you got back what you almost lost.”

Trenton sighs.

“Those people, the people I work with in GCW, the GCW fans, they think I care only about being a champion and making money.  But you know I’m not that kind of person.”

Kayla nods her head.

“That’s right, you are a kind, compassionate human being.”

“And I’m someone who cares about something greater than just a material possession.”

He reaches out with one hand and runs it through her long red hair.

“Specifically, I should say that I care about someone greater than a mere material possession.”

Tears are beginning to form in Kayla’s eyes as the younger Jones sibling fights back the emotions.

“Uh, Trenton?  What are you saying?”

“You are your sister thought about the future and you realized you almost squandered something great.  I’m not going to squander this away.  I am not going to stand idly by and let you get away.”

Trenton gets down on one knee while still grasping one of Kayla’s hands.  Kayla gasps as she now begins to realize where he is going with this.

“Kayla Marie Shawna Jones…”

“Oh Trenton…”

“…will you marry me?”

Kayla is speechless as a thousand different thoughts runs through her head as she watches Trenton slip a diamond ring onto her finger.  She can also see the hopefulness and expectation on Trenton’s face as he waits patiently upon her answer.  It isn’t long before Kayla can no longer hold back her emotions.  She starts to cry as she nods her head.

“Yes!  Yes, I’ll marry you!”

Trenton stands up and now he, too, is beginning to cry ever so slightly.

“Kayla Jones-Snow…”

Kayla grins as she hears Trenton say this.

“I like the sound of that.”

Trenton and Kayla embrace and their lips meet in a loving, passionate kiss.  Trenton’s arm reach around to the back of Kayla and he begins to unzip her dress.  Kayla slowly starts to unbutton his silk shirt.  The rest…left up to the imagination…

The sunlight shines in from the windows but that isn’t what wakes up an exhausted Kayla Jones.  It’s the loud knocking on the doors of her and Trenton’s hotel room and the Grand Hyatt that seems to do the trick…

…and yet even that takes a while.  As soon as the first knocking is heard the lovely redhead begins to toss and turn, burying herself underneath the covers in an attempt to ignore and silence the noise.  She takes the fluffy white pillow and shoves it over her own face, hoping that it will help drown out some of the noise but it doesn’t seem to work.  The knocking just keeps up, growing louder and louder, all the more incessant.

Finally the beautiful redhead sits up and turns to face the door…

“GO AWAY!”

Kayla glares angrily at the door, which is where the knocking is coming from, hoping that whoever is there will indeed go away.  Unfortunately her angry exclamation does no good as the knocking resumes after a few seconds.  And to make matters worse she hears a groaning, which indicates that her former boyfriend now fiancée, Trenton Snow, has been awakened by a combination of the loud knocking at the door and Kayla’s own shouting.

“Huh?  Wha…?”

Kayla sighs as she turns and looks down at Trenton.  He remains lying down, his eyes are only half-open, but he is clearly aware that is something is going on.  She rubs the side of his head gently.

“Don’t worry, sweetie.  Just go back to sleep.”

The knocking continues but Trenton decides to take his fiancée’s advice.  He rolls over and shuts his eyes as he attempts to go back to sleep.  Kayla, though, knows that she should deal with this person at the door so that both of them can go back to sleep.

So she throws the covers off and swings her feet over to the side of the bed.  She stands up, revealing herself to be wearing a French cut black lace panty and a black lace bra.

“Whoever you are, you need to go away!  We’re trying to sleep in here!”

“I think you forgot something, sis.”

Kayla’s eyes grow wide.  She knows that voice.  Kayla walks over the door with a determined stride.  She glares out the peephole to confirm what she already knows.  Sure enough, it is her older sister Angelica Jones standing outside.  Immediately Kayla opens the door and stares at her older sister.

“Angelica, what are you doing here?”

“Picking you up.  It’s the day of Breakdown and we have an autograph signing.”

Angelica scans her younger sibling.  Angelica smirks knowingly.

“You’ll definitely be a big hit with the fans dressed like that.”

Kayla’s face grows red as she blushes in embarrassment.  Though that embarrassment quickly turns to anger.

“Just…just…”

Angelica chuckles.

“Just what?”

“Oh just give me a moment!”

Kayla slams the door in Angelica’s face.  The hotheaded redhead goes to a pile of clothes lying by the bed and reaches down, first picking up a simple red skirt, which she steps into and pulls it up.  Kayla then finds a simple black “SCW” t-shirt which she throws on over her head.  Next Jones finds a pair of simple flip flops which she slips her feet into.  She is ready to leave but before she can make her exit she hears Trenton groaning.

“Where…where are…”

“I’m leaving, sweetie.  Angelica and I have an autograph signing, remember?”

“Oh…”

Kayla walks over and bends down to kiss her fiancée on the forehead.

“I’ll be back.  Promise.”

Kayla turns and makes her way back over to the door.  She opens it and then steps outside, joining her older sister.  Angelica has her arms folded over her chest as she stares quizzically at Kayla.  The younger Jones sibling impatiently wants to leave.

“Let’s go.”

“Not yet.”

“What are we waiting for?”

Angelica smirks as she reaches out and takes Kayla’s hand, the one with the diamond ring on it, and taps the diamond.

“I want you to explain this first.”

“Huh?”

Kayla looks down at her new ring and smiles.

“Oh…well, yeah, Trenton kindasorta proposed.”

“He did?  You did say yes, didn’t you?”

Kayla frowns.

“Of course I said yes, dimwit.”

“That’s great news!”

Angelica embraces her younger sister in a tight hug.

“Congratulations, Kayla!  If anyone deserves true happiness, it’s you!”

“Thanks, sis.”

Angelica place an arm around Kayla’s shoulder.  The pair begin to walk down the hall towards the elevator.

“The family dynamic is going to change, I take it?”

Kayla nods her head.

“In a big way.  Trenton becoming a part of the family…I become a part of his…I change my last name again…”

Kayla sighs.

“…it all seems so sudden and yet I realize it’s so far away.”

“Kayla Jones-Snow then?”

“Yeah, is there anything wrong with it?”

“No, but I kinda like Trenton Jones better.”

Kayla rolls her eyes.

“It doesn’t work that way and you know it.”

“Oh come on, sis.  Be progressive!”

“I’m NOT progressive.”

The sisters make their way to the elevators, whose doors already happen to be open.  They step inside and Angelica presses the button for the ground floor.  The doors shut and the elevator begins to slowly descend.  Eventually it reaches the ground floor and the doors open back up.  Angelica and Kayla exit the elevators and walk back into the lobby of the Grand Hyatt.  Angelica leads the way, speaking to Kayla about their plans for the day…

“Ok, I have a rental car just outside.   We can…”

Angelica notices that Kayla has stopped.  She turns to face her younger sibling.

“…uh, Kayla?  Did you hear a word I said?”

“Huh?”

“Were you listening to me?”

Kayla quickly nods her head.

“Yes, rental car…outside…got it.  I’ll be right there.  I just…”

Her voice trails off.  Angelica frowns.

“You just what?”

“I just need a drink.  That’s all.  I’ll be right out.”

Angelica stares at her younger sibling skeptically.  She can tell something is up.  She can tell Kayla is hiding something.  Nevertheless, Angelica nods her head.

“Alright, I’ll be waiting.”

Angelica turns and walks outside.  As soon as Kayla is certain that her older sibling is out of sight, she hurriedly walks over to the far side of the lobby, a lobby which is now bustling with activity.  She pushes and shoves her way past crowds of people until she spots her target…

“Audrey!”

Yes, that Audrey.  The same black haired beauty who invaded their private gym last week, the same Audrey who asked to be taught how to wrestle but whom Angelica flat out rejected and refused.  She is in this lobby and as soon as she hears Kayla calling out her name she starts to walk away.

“Audrey, wait!”

Audrey walks down a hallway and Kayla follows her.

“Go away, Kayla.”

“I just want to talk.”

“I tried to talk and you wouldn’t listen.”

Kayla breaks out into a run.  She catches up to Audrey and steps out in front of her, blocking her exit.  Kayla places her hands on her hips and frowns.

“You’re wrong.  My SISTER refused to listen to you.”

The raven-haired beauty seems skeptical as she glares frustratingly at Kayla.

“Oh and you want to listen?”

“Yes, I do want to listen.  And I think you want to talk…”

Kayla smirks.

“…otherwise why would you have been following me and Angelica here to Seattle?”

“Huh?”

“The last time I saw you, we were all in Boston.  Now suddenly I find you in Seattle?  We just so happened to bump into one another on the other side of the country?”

Audrey’s stoic glare slowly begins to break as she realizes Kayla has a point.

“Um….a coincidence?”

“That’d be one hell of a coincidence.”

Audrey, realizing she is caught red handed, sighs and nods her head.

“Fine, I admit it.  I’ve been stalking you guys.”

“But why?”

“I thought I made that clear.  I need help.  I need an escape.”

“An escape from what, exactly?”

“I need an escape from my own pathetic life!  I just…”

Tears form in Audrey’s eyes.  Kayla reaches out a hand to place it on her shoulders in an attempt to comfort her.

“…I just want to start over.  That’s why I sought out you and Angelica.  I thought for certain you and your sister would understand.  You utilized pro-wrestling as a way to escape your own individual situations, Angelica to escape the convent and you to escape the abuse of Oliver Hardy.”

Kayla nods her head.

“Yeah, you’re right.”

“But clearly you don’t understand, so I’m just going to leave and…”

Audrey tries to walk away but Kayla reaches out and grabs her by her arm.

“Wait.”

Audrey stops and looks into Kayla’s eyes.

“Angelica may not understand but I do.  Unfortunately, I can’t do much without causing problems with my sister.  However there is another alternative.”

“What’s that?”

“If you know so much about us, then you should already know that answer.  The fact is, Audrey, that pro-wrestling alone wasn’t my salvation.  Modeling also saved my life.  And modeling is entirely my realm, entirely my life.  Angelica has nothing to do with that.”

Audrey’s eyes grow wide and she begins to smile.

“Do you mean…?”

Kayla nods her head.

“Contact my offices in Boston and I’ll see if I can pull some strings to get you on as a model.  It may not be wrestling but it’s a start and that’s how I got my start.  So if it works for me, it can work for you too.”

“I don’t…I don’t know what to say…”

“Say nothing.  I love my sister but she’s grown somewhat cold due to how she has been treated in the past.  It’s not entirely her fault.  But she needs to realize that sometimes you need to help someone just because it’s the right thing to do.”

Audrey smiles warmly.

“Th…thanks, Kayla…you have no idea what this means to me.”

==========

“Why?”

The voice is that of Angelica Jones, but where is she?  It’s a complete and utter darkness that envelopes the scene.  We have no way of knowing where she is right now.

“Why, after going through so much trouble in the lead up to Rise To Greatness to have singles careers, would myself and my sister, Kayla Jones, reunite The Sisterhood?”

Slowly lights begin to come on, one after another, revealing a faded wrestling mat, ring ropes, and eventually a ring apron, completing this wrestling ring which the speaker, Angelica Jones, is standing in the center of.  More lights come on, one after another, revealing the hard, cold gray concrete floor and then, finally, the last of the lights, revealing that we are in an empty gym, perhaps the private gym owned by Angelica Jones herself.

“It’s a fair question; one that my sister and I will gladly address.”

Footsteps are heard upon the concrete floor.  It isn’t long before we see that those footsteps belong to Kayla Jones, who ascends the steel steps of this wrestling ring and then steps through the ropes and into the ring.  Kayla joins her sister Angelica in the center.

“The fact is that Angelica and I can see how much SCW’s tag team division needs order.  What happened in the lead up to Rise To Greatness and the tag title match, the way Adrenaline Rush have been screwed so many times, it has been chaotic.  And while it’s a good thing that Money in the Bank is gone, someone needs to step in and revitalize this division and that team needs to be able to bring order to the chaos.  Do you honestly believe Punk Hazard can bring order to chaos?”

Kayla looks over towards her older sister Angelica as if awaiting a response.  Angelica shakes her head.

“Punk Hazard by their very definition is chaos.  They live and thrive upon it.  The only way they can succeed is through chaos, the chaos of outside interference from the rest of their cronies because they are not good enough or talented enough to get the job done on their own.  But what about these newcomers Daughters of Darkness?”

Angelica shoots a glance over towards Kayla, as it’s her turn to answer.

“Are they going to have spinning heads?  Will they vomit pea green soup?  Seriously, the whole darkness shtick is old and washed up.  Been there, done that.  And since they are new, why are they even in the running to be the top contenders anyway?”

Angelica chuckles.

“Good question, sis, and that brings us to Shaun Cruze and AJ Helms.  We’re alike in many ways, boys.  We all want the same thing; we all want to restore some semblance of order.  We all hate and despite the chaos that has run rampant in SCW where whoever has more running buddies, whoever has the bigger and tougher gang, wins all the time.”

She holds up one finger.

“But there is one thing that we damn sure want and yet we are not certain you two want…at least, not as badly as we want it…right, Kayla?”

Kayla nods her head.

“That’s right, and that one thing is the SCW World Tag Team Championship.  As much as we want to restore order and restore some semblance of tradition to this great sport, as much as The Sisterhood wants to make the tag team division great again…”

“Ok Trump.”

Kayla rolls her eyes.

“…as much as we want to do all of that, we also want the SCW World Tag Team Championship more than we want any of that.  The titles are more important.  The titles are priority number one.  We had our opportunity at Taking Hold of the Flame to win them back and while we took Autumn and Gable to the limits, it just wasn’t enough.  We blew it.  We failed.”

“Ah but with failure comes opportunity, an opportunity to learn from our mistakes.  Shaun, AJ, we have definitely learned from our mistakes.  During our time apart we grew wiser, we grew stronger, and now that we are back together we are ready to earn another tag team title shot and this time we will not fail.  This time we will not walk away without the gold.”

“Honestly, though, what does the tag team division mean to you?”

Kayla shrugs her shoulders.

“Shaun Cruze, you are a former SCW World Champion.  AJ Helms, you are new, green, and while you are a holder of a Trios contract, that means nothing as to whether or not you can get it done in the tag team division.  Angelica and I have been teaming together since 2009.  You two haven’t been a team a solid year yet.  Have you even won a match as a tag team?”

Kayla and Angelica both shrug their shoulders simultaneously.

“I ask that honestly, because you’ve had so few matches as a legit team that it’s almost like hunting for a needle in a haystack for a tag team match featuring the two of you.  The one high profile one we do remember is one you lost to Kelcey and Chris Cannon.”

“You can cry shenanigans all you want, boys, but a loss is a loss.  We were never pinned to lose the SCW World Tag Team Titles but what good did that fact do us?  It didn’t help us at all.”

Kayla shakes her head.

“Don’t get us wrong, we are not suggesting that you don’t cut the mustard here in SCW.  We would be delusional to say such things.  You two individually are great.  Individually you are amazing athletes.  Individually you two can win any match, against any opponent, and can win any title you set your mind to…”

Now it’s Angelica’s turn to pick up where her sister left off, and she does so with a smirk on her face.

“…individually.  The key word she used is INDIVIDUALLY!  Can you two get the job done together as a unit?  Can you two get the job done as a team?  That remains to be seen.  We do not know the answer to that.  You have NO track record in the tag team division.  But The Sisterhood’s track record when it comes to tag team wrestling is sparkling.”

“In the job market you can have all of the fancy letters you want after your name, BA., B.S., M.A., M.S., PhD, and so on and so forth, but the one thing that trumps education is experience.  You two have what is equivalent to the education but The Sisterhood has all of the experience on our side.  We know how to win as a team when the chips are down.  We trust one another with our lives.  We have a chemistry, a bond, that you two will never have.”

Kayla nods her head.

“And THAT is why we’re going to win, that’s why we’re going to shock the world and take out Honour Code in the first round and advance to Apocalypse, and that is why we…”

Angelica steps in front of Kayla and interrupts her.

“…that is why we are going to kick your teeth right down your throat!”

Kayla glares angrily at Angelica.

“That’s my line!”

“But you promised I could say it!”

“No I didn’t!”

Angelica sighs and steps aside and motions to the camera.  Kayla steps up and stares directly at the camera.

“As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted….Cruze, Helms, we are going to kick your teeth right down your throat!”
