Thinking about the Future: Part 1

==========

Angelica Jones and her younger sister Kayla initially thought breaking up and going their separate ways in Supreme Championship Wrestling was the best idea.  They thought venturing out into the singles division to try and rejuvenate their singles careers was for the best.  But now the rumors are all but confirmed that Angelica and Kayla, together known as The Sisterhood, are reuniting and reentering the tag team division after just little over a month apart in the singles division.  So what possibly could cause them to return to the tag team division so quickly?

Angelica Jones had nearly become Television Champion and earned her way into an Adrenaline Title contender’s match at Rise To Greatness.  Kayla Jones also did rather well; she nearly earned a shot at the Television title as well as the Women’s title.  Some may call it a mistake to give up on the singles division so quickly.  Why, then, would they take such a risk and reunite The Sisterhood just when their singles careers in SCW seemed to be taking off?

Part of it is strength.  Angelica and Kayla realized very quickly that they are much stronger together.  United they are a much more powerful force.  The other reason boils down to the tag team division itself.  Both Angelica and Kayla cannot help but notice what has gone on; while Autumn Valentine and Gable Winchester continue their dominance, the ladies of Money in the Bank threaten to take it over and ruin it with their ilk.  Still there’s Adrenaline Rush, but can Craig Thomas and Tyler Tucker defend the division on their own?

Unlikely.

Angelica and Kayla are reuniting The Sisterhood because they love tag team wrestling.  Gable and Autumn, Money in the Back, Adrenaline Rush, all of them are jockeying for position in the division.  And The Sisterhood still haven’t forgotten Taking Hold of the Flame when they nearly won back the titles.  They came close to dethroning Winchester and Valentine.  They came closer than any other tag team.  They are still the only ones to hold a tag team victory over them since becoming tag team champions.  Now is the time for Angelica and Kayla to reunite and try to recapture the SCW World Tag Team Championships.

The truth is, they never should have broke up to begin with.   Angelica and Kayla know this now, because looking back, they did come close at Taking Hold of the Flame, and had they kept up the pressure, they could have earned another title shot and could have won the gold back.

So it is their passion for tag team wrestling combined with the fact that they are stronger together than they are separate that has convinced Angelica and Kayla to reunite in Supreme Championship Wrestling.  The redheaded siblings will not stop until they have regained the world tag team championship.

In Boston, Massachusetts we find Kayla Jones, the younger member of the Sisterhood, standing out in front of the Boston headquarters of Jones Wrestling Incorporated.  This company started out as a modeling agency that Kayla started.  The younger Jones sibling used nearly all of her savings to purchase it and make it her own but it worked out in the end, for she turned the fledgling modeling agency around.  In later years she would expand her business, adding managing to her repertoire.  She took GCW superstars Gabriela Austin and Hayley Gold as her first clients and currently is in negotiations to add another.  Recently Kayla agreed on a merger with Carter Industries, the company her sister Angelica came into possession of by virtue of marrying Lindsey Carter.  Now she stands here waiting on her business partner, tag team partner, and older sister Angelica to arrive.

Kayla, who is wearing an American Rag laid back printed sleeveless dress featuring a lace up front and an open back with smocked details, a scooped neckline, with a hemline that hits above the knee, checks her watch impatiently.  Angelica is late…

…as usual.

Just then, as if on cue, Kayla notices Angelica’s vehicle pulling up into the parking lot.  Kayla lets out a sigh of relief as the car comes to a stop.  The driver’s side door opens and Angelica steps out.  The elder Jones is wearing a flowing maxi skirt with tiers of semi sheer chiffon that floats over a mini length liner in a breezy pink and purple tapestry print, a crocheted lace tank top, and a crossover strap bracelet and sandals.  Kayla immediately approaches her and taps her watch.

“You’re late.”

“Sorry!”

Angelica exclaims out loud, trying to plead innocence, shrugging her shoulders.

“I kinda got stuck in traffic.”

“Traffic?”

Kayla shakes her head.  It’s clear the younger sibling does not believe her.  Once again Kayla taps her watch.

“You’re twenty minutes late.”

“…really bad traffic?”

Kayla places her hands on her hips.  Angelica sighs and shakes her head.

“Fine.  I was watching the New England Patriots warm up!”

Kayla rolls her eyes.

“Real good use of your time, sis.”

“Maybe not, but it’s not like we’re doing anything today, are we?”

“You may not think it’s important, but this paperwork IS important for legal reasons.”

Bickering is typical of most siblings, but most especially of the Jones sisters.  Kayla opens the front door of Jones Wrestling Incorporated headquarters for Angelica who steps inside.  Kayla follows suit after her and lets the door shut behind her.  They walk down a long hallway, continuing to bicker and argue as they go.

“The only thing important in pro-wrestling is the physicality.  We need to be ready to take any and all punishment that our opponents are prepared to dish out and we need to be just as ready to beat them up too!”

The intensity in Angelica’s voice is quite noticeable.  Kayla just chuckles in response.  Angelica frowns, clearly not pleased with being laughed at.

“What’s so damn funny?

“You know, I once thought like you did.  I thought this entire industry, our sport in general, was just about being the toughest physically, but now that I’ve been involved as a manager of Gabby and Hayley, I can see how much business is involved behind the scenes.”

Angelica furrows her brow in disgust.

“Politics, you mean.”

“Call it politics, call it legalese, call it business, call it whatever you want, but the fact is that you cannot succeed in this sport nowadays without knowing how to do good business.”

“You mean we need to play backstage politics.”

Kayla shakes her head.

“Absolutely not.  But the fact is that others WILL be playing politics. We don’t need to play politics, per se.  We just someone who we trust who DOES know how to play politics who can watch our back in the backstage area and make sure we don’t get screwed by the suits.”

Angelica sighs and nods her head.

“I guess you’re right, but who do we trust that can help us out with the backstage politics in pro-wrestling?”

Their walk down the long hallway comes to a stop at a door leading to someone’s office.  Angelica stares at the door for a moment, wondering curiously as to why she and her sister Kayla haven’t walked through it yet.  Then she turns and looks into Kayla’s eyes.  Kayla appears to be nervous.  A worried grin is on Kayla’s face.  The younger Jones sister is clearly nervous about how Angelica will take this next piece of news.  Angelica motions to the door.

“So, what’s behind door number one?”

“What door?”

Angelica tilts her head to one side and frowns.  She places her hand on the door.

“THAT door…”

“Oh…”

Kayla chuckles uneasily.  Angelica can tell she’s trying to hide something.

“What’s wrong, Kay?  Who is behind that door?”

“Umm…nobody?”

“I don’t believe you.”

Angelica reaches for the door handle and turns it.  Jones pushes the door open and Kayla frowns uneasily.

“Don’t be mad!”

“Why would I be mad?”

Angelica steps inside the office, followed by Kayla.  Immediately she lays her eyes upon a male sitting at a large oak desk.  He has blonde hair in a crew cut and is wearing a Carolina blue button up shirt, black dress pants, and black dress shoes.  He looks up at the sisters standing there in his office and he smiles politely at them.

“Hi, Kayla…hi there, Angelica!”

“YOU SON OF A BITCH!”

This is Oliver Hardy Jr., Kayla’s foster brother, the son of the man who molested Kayla when she was a teenager.  That same man who molested Kayla would also rape Angelica’s own daughter Marie.  Needless to say, there is zero love lost here as far as Angelica is concerned.  An angry redhead lunges at Oliver Hardy Jr. and wraps her hands around his throat.

“THIS IS FOR MY DAUGHTER, YOU BASTARD!”

“ACK!”

“ANGELICA, NO!”

Kayla lunges forward and grabs hold of her sister.  She tries to pry her loose but is unsuccessful.

“I…ACK…didn’t…AAAACK!”

“Your father raped my child!  You’re as guilty as him!”

Angelica squeezes even harder.  Kayla keeps pulling and prying until finally she manages to get Angelica off of Oliver.  As soon as the chaos is over, Angelica looks at Kayla dumbfounded, shocked that Kayla would try to stop her.

“Why the hell did you stop me?!”

She motions to Oliver.

“Why the hell is he here, anyway?!”

“Angelica, just listen to me…”

She motions to Oliver, who is rubbing his neck and trying to regain some semblance of composure.

“…that is not the man who raped Marie.  The man who raped Marie is dead.”

“But that’s his bastard son!”

Kayla shakes her head.  Then, much to Angelica’s surprise, Kayla walks over to Oliver Hardy Jr. and places a gentle, comforting hand upon his shoulder.

“This man is every bit a victim of his father as I was.”

It takes a while for what Kayla said to settle in.  It takes awhile for Angelica’s mind to process what her younger sister told her.  But when she does, the realization hits her like a ton of bricks and her jaw nearly hits the floor.

“I…just…I didn’t know…I mean, I didn’t think…”

“That’s your problem, Angelica.  You rarely think.  You act on emotion and impulse without thinking things through.  Just like breaking up The Sisterhood.  That was impulsive of us, we didn’t think that one through.  But now we have a chance to fix that mistake.”

Kayla pats Oliver on his shoulder.

“Oliver here realizes the mistakes his father made and the mistakes he himself made and he wants to do whatever he can to make up for them.”

Angelica points at Kayla.

“And you’re willing to give him a chance?”

“Why not?”

“Think back to what he tried to do to us, Kay.  Does he deserve a chance?”

Kayla shakes her head in disgust and disappointment.

“I honestly can’t believe you, sis.  I really can’t.”

“What?”

“You of all people should believe in giving people another chance.  You’ve been guilty of setting your opponents on fire and ending their careers all because you could.  You went and took things a step further and ended the life of your own daughter’s father, an act that set you to a mental institution against your will.  And when you came back, you sought out my forgiveness and the forgiveness of others and I gave you a second chance.”

Kayla helps Oliver to his feet.

“Oliver here WILLINGLY checked himself into a mental health program to get help and now he wants to make things right with us. Oliver…”

Hardy holds up his hand to silence Kayla.

“Let me talk to her, sis.”

Oliver approaches Angelica cautiously.  The caution was warranted, for as soon as he gets there Angelica slaps him across the face.  Rage once again crosses her face.

“She is NOT your sister!”

“Biologically, no...but Kayla and I have a special bond that we have formed due to our shared experience at the hands of the monster that was my father.  And I know all about what he did to your daughter Marie, but understand that I am not him.  I only wish to make up for the despicable things I did.”

He holds out his hand, offering Angelica the opportunity to shake it.

“If you’ll let me.”

Angelica looks at the hand momentarily and then she looks up at her sister Kayla.

“Do you trust him?”

“Absolutely.”

Angelica looks down at the hand and sneers.

“I’m glad you do, because I don’t.  I may never trust him.  But I do trust you, Kayla.”

“Good, because Oliver here is going to be the guy who handles all legal issues as well as any behind the scenes politics of The Sisterhood.”

Angelica sighs upon hearing this.

“I was afraid you were going to say that.”

“Look, you two ladies are the best tag team in SCW.”

Angelica and Kayla both cast a gaze at Oliver.  Angelica chuckles.

“I wish…Autumn and Gable have the belts that say otherwise.”

“My wrestling career may have been short lived, but even I know that the physical belts themselves mean nothing.  They are just symbolic.  Do you want FACTS?  The FACT is that you beat the SCW World Tag Team Champions.  You did.  The Sisterhood beat them, fair and square, in a straight up no-nonsense tag match.  There were no other teams involved, no cute gimmicks or fancy rules, no way for anyone to make any excuses.  You beat them.”

“Yeah, and then they beat us Taking Hold of the Flame.”

“So what?  As far as I’m concerned that means you guys are all tied up at one win apiece.  I would argue that point with SCW management when trying to get you a title shot.  And that’s ultimately the only thing you girls need…good representation.”

Oliver pats himself on the chest.

“I am ready, willing, and able to provide that representation.  Case in point, you two went and tried to convince Mr. D himself to give you that tag title shot at Taking Hold of the Flame and where did it get you?”

Kayla rolls her eyes.

“We badgered and annoyed him is more like it.”

“And he took the title shot away from us, he forced us to earn it back.”

“Precisely.  That was unfair…he never should have taken it from you in the first place, but with the proper representation, that kind of thing won’t happen again.  You can focus on wrestling and winning while I focus on dealing with management.”

Angelica stares into Oliver’s eyes for a long time.  The angry redhead seems to cool down as she considers what, at first, she thought was impossible.

“You’re serious, aren’t you?”

“I’m as serious as a heartbeat, Angelica.”

Once again he extends his hand towards Angelica for her to shake it.

“I did some terrible things to you and your family.  My dad did some terrible things to you and your family.  Some of those things I cannot fix.  But I want to try and make things right between us.  I have changed, Angelica, and I want to help you and my sister.”

Angelica stares at the hand before her for a moment.  Finally, Angelica accepts the handshake.

“Alright, we’ll try it…but Oliver?”

“Yes?”

“She’s NOT your sister.”

Scene 2

==========

Back in Boston, Massachusetts, at the special private gym owned by Angelica Jones herself, we see the self-named and self-made woman, The Dragon of The Sisterhood, Angelica Jones sitting on the edge of a wrestling ring.  A few feet away she watches as her younger sibling, the other half of the Sisterhood, Kayla Jones, laces into a heavy bag that dangles from the ceiling.

The concrete floor is gray and the walls are painted an off-white color, at least the walls that still have paint on them, as most of the paint on the walls have begun to peel.  There is a standard wrestling set up in the center, weights scattered all over the floor.  At one of the far ends of the room is a red heavy bag.  In the background we see a standard wrestling ring.  The ring has black ropes and a black apron but the mat is a Carolina sky blue.

Angelica and Kayla, just little over a month after breaking up The Sisterhood, have reunited and as part of their return to the tag team division, they have already gained representation in the form of Kayla’s former foster brother Oliver Hardy.  Having representation was Kayla’s idea.  Angelica is not convinced yet that they need any representation and she definitely isn’t certain about Oliver Hardy as representation, for it was his father who raped Angelica’s daughter, Marie Annabelle Jones.  Oliver, though, was a victim as well and he is seeking to make up for his and his father’s past sins.

Still, it’s worth a shot, especially as the re-enter the tag team division of Supreme Championship Wrestling, a division that is teeming with tag teams galore including the reigning world tag team champions, Gable Winchester and Autumn Valentine, a team whom they have beaten before in a non-title match.  If they can manage to convince SCW management to give them another opportunity at the titles, they will need to be prepared.  That’s what brings them to the gym where Kayla currently is busting her ass, sweating bullets as she gets ready.

Meanwhile, Angelica Jones is on her iPhone, staring at it intensely as she reads the screen carefully.  Just then her eyes widen.  A smirk forms across her face as she hops up off of the ring apron, carrying her iPhone in her hand.

“Kayla!”

The younger Jones sibling ignores her and continues to throw hands against the heavy bag.

“Kayla, I heard back from Oliver!  We’re booked for Breakdown!”

That’s enough to get Kayla’s attention.  She stops and stands there, catching her breath, as she waits to hear what Angelica has to say.  The older Jones sibling waves the iPhone at Kayla.

“He says we’re booked against Shaun Cruze and AJ Helms.”

“The Honour Code?”

Angelica nods her head.

“That’s right, tag team action.”

“Excellent, that’s what we wanted.”

Angelica grins knowingly.

“It gets better.  It’s part of a tag team tournament.  If we beat them, we’ll face Punk Hazard or Daughters of Darkness at Apocalypse.  The winners of this tournament will become the number one contenders for the SCW World Tag Team Championship.”

The grin on Kayla’s face grows wider as she takes it all in.  The redheads jumps up in the air and pumps her fist with excitement and jubilation.

“Yes!  Tag titles here we come!”

She smirks at Angelica.

“I told you Oliver would be great.”

Angelica Jones frowns and puts her hands on her hips.

“That remains to be seen.  We do have the opportunity, though and we cannot let this one go to waste.”

“And I’m glad we’ll get to earn this opportunity.  Anyone left who doubts our sincerity or our credentials will see that we mean what we say and we will do exactly what we say we will do.”

She places a hand on her sister’s shoulder.

“Right, sis?”

“Right.”

Angelica and Kayla realize how challenging this tournament will be.  They may be former SCW World Tag Team Champions and that makes them a favorite to possibly win it all, but Shaun Cruze is a former SCW World Champion and AJ Helms has the background and wrestling potential to be one of the greats.  Honour Code may not have been an active tag team for very long, but together they could do some real damage in the tag team division.  Angelica and Kayla will have to be at the top of their game if they hope to advance.

And they know it.

“So, now that we know what to expect, what do you say we get down to business?”

“You mean the workout?”

“Yes, that.”

Angelica nods her head and points to a bar with weights attached.

“Lift the weights.”

“How many?”

“Just until I say stop.”

Jones kneels down and picks up the bar.  Then she begins to lift, up and down, up and down; Angelica smiles with pride as she watches her sister and tag team partner perform as instructed.

“Good.  Very good.”

After about twenty reps, Kayla puts the bar down.  Angelica frowns.

“Did I say you could stop?  Keep going.”

The younger sibling points a finger at Angelica.

“Yeah, ok, well when are YOU going to do something?”

“Hey now, I just had a good sparring session at Rise To Greatness with Justin Davis.  I think I’m owed a break.”

Kayla frowns.

“Sparring session?  Angel, he was kicking your ass and you only won because of a low blow.”

Angelica smirks knowingly.

“Hey, I won though.”

“I thought we had agreed to stop that crap?”

Angelica sighs and nods her head.

“Are you going to lecture me now?  You are not mom.”

“No, but clearly I’m the more responsible one.”

She takes her older sister’s hands and squeezes them tightly.

“We went through a great deal of trouble to rehabilitate our image.  Don’t ruin that.”

Angelica sighs.

“Winning is important to me.  It’s the most important thing to me and that philosophy got me an Adrenaline title shot.  So Kay, if I’m ruining anyone’s image it’s my own.  Not yours.”

“Yes, but we are PARTNERS, together we are the Sisterhood.  So promise me in that ring against Honour Code, and in all future matches for that matter, you will not cheat.”

“Do I have to promise?”

“YES!”

Angelica rolls her eyes.

“Fine, I promise no cheating.”

Kayla smiles warmly and then embraces her sister in a hug.

“Good.  Thanks, Angel.”

This is a very touching moment between the siblings and newly reunited tag team, a team that hopes to do things on the up and up here on out, despite Angelica’s underhanded performance at Rise To Greatness.  This team knows that they will be in for a fight on Breakdown against Honour Code.  Nevertheless, they will be ready.  This touching moment is at least a temporary stress relief.

But that touching moment is about to end.

The door to the gym suddenly opens and a black haired female comes walking in.  Angelica owns this gym and she doesn’t open it up to the public, even though it used to be a public gym before she bought it.  Still, it surprises her to see someone here.  Once the surprise is gone, she contorts her lovely facial features into a look of anger.  Kayla just looks on with curiosity as the thin and trim black haired female, dressed in denim jeans, black boots, and a black halter top, cautiously approaches them.

“Oh, umm hi, I wasn’t actually expecting anyone to be here…”

“Who the hell are you?”

That’s Angelica who snaps at the younger woman.  Angelica starts towards her but Kayla grabs her by the arm to hold her back.  Angelica quickly jerks the arm away and then storms towards the woman to confront her nose to nose.

“Let me repeat myself.  Who the hell are you?”

It is clear that the veteran red headed Boston native has intimidated this young woman, who smiles nervously as she hesitantly and reluctantly extends a hand.

“Uh, my name is Audrey.  Audrey Russo.”

Angelica stares the hand offered to her for a few moments and then glares back up at Russo.

“Get out.”

“Huh?”

“You heard me.”

Angelica points back towards the door.

“Get out!”

“Angelica, wait…”

Kayla walks over and stands in between the two women.

“Why don’t we hear her out first?”

Her eyes grow wide.

“So you two ARE Angelica and Kayla Jones?”

Angelica is about ready to shout out some more vitriolic language when her younger sibling’s hand quickly jumps up and is held over her mouth.  Kayla smiles pleasantly hoping to calm things down a bit in this tense environment.

“Yes, yes we are.  How may we help you?”

“I just…um…”

Audrey shakes her head and turns to leave.

“…I’ll just go.”

“No, wait…”

Kayla grabs her by the arm to stop her.

“…what is it?”

Angelica is clearly getting frustrated with her younger sister’s desire to help this intruder.  Nevertheless, she remains quiet as Kayla stands there and listens to Audrey.

“I just…I want…”

“You want what?”

“…I want…I want you to show me the ropes.  I want you to train me in this sport.  I want…”

“You want us to help you become a pro-wrestler?”

The young newcomer nods her head, smiling nervously.

“Yeah…”

She sighs.

“…I mean, I followed your careers for so long.  I even know how and why you both got started in the sport of pro-wrestling and I’d like you to help me get started as well.  If you’re willing.”

Kayla is about to speak up but Angelica, who has had quite enough, interrupts.

“Do you have any idea of what you’re asking?”

Angelica shakes her head.

“No, of course you don’t.  You have no clue of what you are asking for.  I sacrificed time with my family and I lost years off of my life to do this job.  My sister broke her damn neck for this job.  And you think you can just walk right on in here, in PRIVATE PROPERTY by the way, and ask us to train you because you have some deluded dream to be on the big stage like me and Kayla?”

She pokes a finger into Audrey’s chest.

“It doesn’t work like that.  Very rarely do dreams come true and me and Kayla are not a charity case.  We do not help starry eyed dreamers.  So take your dreams and march your ass out of MY gym!”

Up until this point Audrey had been clearly nervous; but now something Angelica said has upset her to the point of anger.  She contorts her face and shoves Angelica backwards.  Normally the redhead would have retaliated but, this time, she is too shocked. She is shocked that a young stranger like this would do something like this; something this bold.  She points a finger angrily at Angelica and Kayla.

“So you think I’m just a dreamer?  Well let me tell you about my dreams.  My dreams involved being a model.  That was my dream.  Being a wrestler is not my dream.  Being a wrestler is my only method of survival.”

The woman, Audrey, turns and storms away.  Kayla once again shouts after her…

“Audrey, wait!”

…this time she ignores Kayla and just walks away.  Exiting the gym and slamming the door behind her.  As soon as she is gone Kayla turns and glares angrily at her older sibling.

“Now see what you did?!”

“What?  She was trespassing, Kayla.”

“Yeah, I know, but you could’ve been at least a little more compassionate.”

“Compassionate in what way?  Do you honestly think we have time to take on a protégé?  Let me lay it all out for you, sis.  We’re both wrestlers.  You are also a manager and the head of a modeling agency.  Do you think we have time for this?”

Kayla sighs and shakes her head.

“No, I guess we don’t.”

Angelica walks over and places a hand on Kayla’s shoulder.

“No, we don’t.  We had no choice, Kayla.”

“Still, I’m worried about her.”

“Don’t be…I doubt we’ll ever see her again.”

==========
On Camera
==========

The birds are chirping and the sun shines high overhead in the midday sky, a sky that is a bright Carolina blue.  The birds in the air have to share this bright sky with trees in the near ground but also with tall skyscrapers in the background that stand up tall, touching the very heavens themselves.  In between this cityscape of skyscrapers and the trees nearer to the camera is a lake.  Rising up out of the lake is what appears to be a black colored fountain, spewing water.  It isn’t immediately obvious where we are, but perhaps that answer will come from the female that enters the scene from stage left.  She is wearing skin tight black leather pants, black metallic three and a half inch high heeled pumps, and a v-neck sleeveless spaghetti strap sequined camisole top.  Her long red hair hangs unrestrained down to just below the shoulders.

This is Kayla Jones, one half of The Sisterhood.

“Rise To Greatness did not go terribly well for me.  I do congratulate Bree Lancaster on becoming number one contender to the SCW Women’s Championship.  Good luck in your quest to win the gold.  And I know I could’ve performed better that night.  No excuses on my part except for the fact that my mind was just not focused.  As great an honor as the SCW Women’s Championship is, it was just not my goal.  It wasn’t what I wanted.  So why would I allow myself to get put into that situation into that match?”

She shrugs her shoulders.

“Who knows?  Perhaps I got greedy in my desire to get to the top so quickly?  I knew where I should be, where I need to be, but I kept denying it.  My sister kept telling me where I needed to be and I didn’t want to believe her.  Bree pinning me at Rise To Greatness was a wake up call in many ways.  I realized that my sister was right.  I had lost focus on the real goal.  That, perhaps, is one of the primary reasons I lost that night.  Perhaps that was why The Sisterhood as a whole lost its way that night.”

“Speak for yourself!”

Kayla rolls her eyes.  The voice that just came from off screen is familiar to her and to anyone else listening.  From stage right another female enters the scene.  She is wearing a sleeveless floral sheath dress with shimmering sequins and a crow neckline.  Her feet are encased in silver peep toe pumps. She also has long gorgeous red hair that flows to below her shoulder length, just slightly longer than Kayla’s.  This is Kayla’s sister, Angelica Jones, the other half of The Sisterhood.  She has a smirk written across her face as she looks first at Kayla and then at the camera.

“I actually won at Rise To Greatness!”

Kayla places her hands on her hips and tilts her head to one side, staring very critically at her older sister.

“You say that as if you’re proud of that win.”

“Well I did defeat Justin Davis, proving once and for all that I am THE toughest Bostonian in Supreme Championship Wrestling, and in the process I earned a shot at the SCW Adrenaline Championship.”

Again the younger Jones sibling rolls her eyes.

“Really?”

“Yeah, really.”

Kayla holds up one finger.

“Number one, you CHEATED to win that match, Angelica.  How can you be proud of that?”

Angelica sighs and nods her head.

“Alright, fine, I guess I’m not proud. I’m sorry. Happy now?”

“No, because number two…”

She holds up two fingers.

“…you are not the toughest Bostonian in SCW.”

Angelica frowns, furrowing her brow out of confusion.

“Huh?”

Kayla smirks.

“What about me?”

“What about you?”

Kayla smacks Angelica in the back of the head.

“Oh shut up you!  We need to focus what’s important.  Rise To Greatness may not have worked out for you and me.”

“Worked well for me, not you.”

Kayla shoots her older sister an angry glare.

“…Rise To Greatness may not have worked out for you and me, but we have moved on.  We have refocused and more importantly we have reunited The Sisterhood.  Former FWA World Tag Team Champions, former GDW World Tag Team Champions, former GCW Global Tag Team Champions, and more importantly the former SCW World Tag Team Champions.  We are back together to regain the titles that we lost.  We are back to retake our spot at the top of the tag team division in the greatest wrestling company in the world.”

Angelica smirks.

“And on that we definitely agree, sis, because it is time that we remind the world that The Sisterhood is the cream of the crop when it comes to tag team wrestling.  We have had our ups and downs.  We have lost our way recently.  But we are back and stronger than ever.”

Kayla nods her head.

“We will earn our way back to the top starting with Breakdown, starting with this tournament to crown new number one contenders for the SCW World Tag Team Championship.  A tournament that includes Shaun Cruze and AJ Helms of Honour Code, Alexis Quinne and Dante McCaffery of Punk Hazard, Sloan Sawyer and Diana Weston of Daughters of Darkness…”

Angelica grins knowingly as she pipes in, interrupting Kayla.

“…and of course, the greatest tag team of them all, The Sisterhood, Kayla Jones and yours truly, The Golden Goddess, Firestar, The Dragon, Angelica Jones!”

Kayla, clearly annoyed by now, shoots her older sister a frustrated glare.

“I was just getting to that.”

“But you don’t do it with nearly as much finesse and pizzazz as I do!”

Kayla rolls her eyes.

“Right, anyway, our quest back to the top of SCW’s tag team division begins behind is, in Omaha, Nebraska as we face Shaun Cruze and AJ Helms on Breakdown.”

“The Honour Code, right?”

Kayla nods her head.  Angelica chuckles.

“Let me educate you boys on a few items.  For starters, there is no honor in this sport.  Winning is number one in importance.  Always has been and always will be.  You do what you have to do to achieve your goals.  It’s that simple.  And if you’re not willing to do anything to win, then you will fail.”

She points a finger at the camera.

“You will fail if you think you can restore honor to a sport that has no honor.  Now don’t get me wrong, boys.  I’m not a bad girl.  I’m not some villain like those you have fought in the past.  I consider myself a realist and realistically speaking, the bad guys aren’t going to take it easy on you, so you can’t take it easy on them.  You need to have the killer instinct necessary to get the job done.”

She points to herself and Kayla.

“We have that killer instinct.  Right, Kayla?”

“That’s right, but beyond having that killer instinct that gives us an edge, we are also the only team in this tournament that have held the SCW World Tag Team Championships.  We are the team with the most experience as a tag team; we have been teaming since 2009, and that’s not to mention the fact that we are sisters and thus we have natural tag team chemistry anyway.  And tell the boys what else we bring to the table, Angelica.”

“My pleasure, Kayla, because what some people may have forgotten, but what no one can ever be allowed to forget, is that we are the tag team that has proven success against the current reigning tag team champions.  We beat Gable Winchester and Autumn Valentine to earn a shot at the tag titles once before.”

Kayla holds up one finger.

“We just need one shot, one more shot, against Gable and Autumn, and we will even the score and more importantly we will once again become SCW World Tag Team Champions.”

Angelica shakes her head.

“But we’re not going to get ahead of ourselves.  We made that mistake once before and we won’t make it again.  We have a tournament to win and, more immediately, we have to defeat you; we have to defeat The Honour Code.  Shaun Cruze, a former world champion in his own right, and his tag team partner AJ Helms, a new comer to the sport, young and still learning.  And yet as we look at you two, we see a lot of ourselves.  It’s like looking in a mirror.  Helms and Cruze, famous families…even if one of you is adopted…just like me and Kayla, from the Jones family, we are a famous family as well.  And just like we got off track and lost focus, you also lost focus.”

“You don’t believe it?  You came together as a team but ended up fighting your own individual battles, Shaun Cruze ended up against Blake Mason and AJ ended up against Chris Cannon.  And Shaun, seriously, can you honestly say you want the tag titles as opposed to another singles title run?  Maybe you and AJ are ready.  Maybe you are ready to focus singularly on the tag team division and the tag team titles.”

Kayla shrugs her shoulders.

“I don’t know.  Perhaps you are ready?  Angelica and I thought we knew what we wanted to do.  We thought we wanted singles careers but we were wrong.  Now we know what we want. We are devoted to the tag team division.  That’s what we’re after.  That’s what we want.  There is no doubt in my mind or Angelica’s mind that the tag team championship is what we want more than anything.”

“We sense doubt within The Honour Code.  You may be honorable, but I’d be willing to bet you doubt why you are doing this.  You should also doubt whether or not you can get the job done because you are facing me and my sister Kayla.  You are facing The Sisterhood.  You are facing the single greatest tag team in SCW.  And Breakdown is when we begin our journey back to the top.  Breakdown is when we put the tag team division on notice that The Sisterhood has returned.”

Kayla smirks.

“Breakdown is the day that we kick your teeth right down your throat.”
