Let It Go: Act 1

==========
Let It Go
Act 1 ; Scene 1

“No one ever has all of the answers when it comes to Angelica Jones.”
---Angelica Jones

Angelica Jones always says that about herself.  She says it to remind everyone, mostly her enemies, that she is too smart and too cunning for them and, furthermore, that they cannot predict her.  It’s a favorite strategy in the wrestling world to scout your opponent, look for patterns and weaknesses, and try to exploit them.  But as Angelica so often reminds everyone, you cannot look for patterns amongst Angelica Jones because there are no such patterns.  It is a fact about Angelica Jones that all of her friends, allies, and acquaintances have all come to accept about her.  They will never truly figure her out, even though her enemies may try their best.  There are even some instances where Angelica Jones herself does not have all the answers about Angelica Jones.

Confused?  Yeah, you might be confused.  You would think that, at the very least, Angelica Jones herself would know everything there is to know about herself, and yet still, on rare occasions, there are times when she, too, is fooled by situations in which she is involved.

Take Rise To Greatness for example.  Angelica Jones was in a six person tag team match, pitting herself and her daughter Jessica Lasiewicz along with Harmony Fisher against a Silas World contingent of Regan Street, Sienna Swann, and Katie Steward.  The stipulation was simple: if Jones and her team won, they would be free of the Silas Mason contract.  If Silas World won, Jones and Lasiewicz and Fisher would have to retire.

Needless to say, those were extraordinarily high stakes, and not just because Angelica was not ready to retire.  Angelica’s daughter, Jessica Lasiewicz, was never a part of Silas World.  She was roped into this simply because she fought against Silas World on her mother’s behalf.  Jessica shouldn’t have had to put her career on the line and yet she did, all for her mother’s sake, and that alone made Rise To Greatness even more important for Angelica.  She had to win, if for nothing else than for her own daughter’s sake.

Despite the motivation and the desire being on her team’s side, despite Angelica herself knowing that a loss would result in her daughter’s career being over, her team still failed to deliver the necessary win.  They lost to Silas World.  It was the end of their careers.

Right?

Angelica Jones thought so, the world thought so, and then something strange happened.  Not only did Regan and Sienna turn on Silas Mason after the match, not only did a five on one assault of the controversial manager take place, resulting in a big celebration and festivities, festivities that shouldn’t be taking place amongst three women who were being forced into early retirement…

…but Angelica Jones found herself booked for the next edition of Breakdown against Dante McCaffery.

Was it an oversight on Mr. D’s part?  Perhaps.  He did seem out of the loop in the main event fiasco that cost Ravyn Taylor the SCW World Title, it highly possible that he could have been out of the loop on this booking as well, and that it is truly an accident and McCaffery was meant to be fighting someone else.  Another possibility is that this was booked ahead of time, before Rise To Greatness took place, and that this, not the six person tag, will legally be Angelica’s true last match.

Those are the most logical possibilities.  But when has Angelica Jones ever been tied down to logic?  Just as she has always said, when it comes to Angelica Jones you never have all of the answers and that seems to be the case here.  Odds are that the simple, more obvious solutions to this mystery are not the right ones.  More than likely there is more here than meets the eye.

And yet the mystery surrounding Angelica Jones and her future not just in Supreme Championship Wrestling but in pro-wrestling in general is not the only thing that weighs heavily upon the mind of Angelica Jones.  More important than her own career is her family and she knows that she has a major issue to deal with regarding her oldest daughter, Marie Annabelle Jones.

The problem all centers around the same man whom Angelica Jones helped dispose of at Rise To Greatness.  That man being Silas Mason.  Back in November of 2014 Angelica Jones, who at the times was a loyal member of Silas World, helped negotiate her daughter’s way into signing with Silas Mason.  Marie desperately wanted an agent to help guide her career and Angelica thought that Silas Mason was her best option.

Looking back now, hindsight being twenty-twenty, Angelica realizes that placing her daughter into the care of Silas Mason was not the best idea she has ever had.  In fact, one could argue that it was quite possibly the worst idea she has ever had.  Marie has been completely brainwashed by Silas Mason.  She totally loyal to him, thinking that he is responsible for her recent success in SCW’s sister-company, the IWC.  Marie cannot accept the fact that she did it herself, that she earned the successes and victories herself, and that Silas Mason had nothing to do with it.

Tensions were already being built up as Jessica Lasiewicz, Marie’s sister, began to try and convince Marie to leave Silas World.  After Angelica saw the light, after Angelica began to see Silas Mason for who he really was, she too began to try and talk some sense into Marie but it only served to cause the tension within the Jones family to grow.  And, if there weren’t tensions before, the tensions will be riding extremely high now that Angelica Jones participated in a five on one beat down of Silas Mason at SCW Rise To Greatness.

Angelica knows this and that is why, despite the jovial atmosphere amongst Angelica Jones and her family, younger sister Kayla Jones and daughter Jessica Lasiewicz, as they walk the hallowed the halls of the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver where the epic Rise To Greatness has just come to a close, Angelica herself still feels a sense of dread, dread of the encounter that she knows will happen soon…

…the thing is, that encounter will take place sooner than she thinks.

Kayla Jones is wearing a red wine-colored jacquard sheath dress with a hemline that stops right at the knee and peep-toe high heel shoes.  Her long red hair is left to hang unrestrained to shoulder length.  Angelica Jones, Kayla’s older sister, is still in her wrestling gear, which consists of a one-piece black flame design catsuit that covers all of the essential parts and shows off no cleavage (sorry guys).  In between them is Jessica Lasiewicz, also wearing her ring gear, consisting of black pants, black boots, and a black halter top that shows off just a little of her midriff.

“That was a great night, ladies.” Kayla remarks, complimenting her sister and niece. “A great night indeed.  I was impressed.”

“Thanks, Aunt Kayla.” Jessica responds. “I know we lost but I still think we accomplished our goal.”

Kayla nods her head in agreement. “You did…thanks to Regan Street and Sienna Swann.”

Kayla looks over at Jessica. “You really should thank them, you know?”

“I will.” Jessica sighs. “Oh believe me, I will.”

“Right now, though, I’m just curious as to what comes next…” Kayla muses out loud.

The three women continue to walk down the halls of the BC Place.  Kayla and Jessica carry most of the conversation on their backs while Angelica just stares blankly ahead as she walks.  It’s almost as if Angelica doesn’t even know where she is right now.  And in a way, she doesn’t.  The BC Place isn’t on her mind.  Rise To Greatness isn’t on her mind.  What’s on her mind right now is the anxious feeling she has knowing that she will soon have to deal with a confrontation with her oldest daughter.

“Angel…”

“Huh?” Angelica is startled to her senses as Kayla, noticing that she was spacing out, calls to her. “Oh…”

“Are you ok, sis?”

Angelica forces a smile onto her face and nods her head. “Yeah, I’m fine.”

“You don’t look it…” she says skeptically as her voice trails off.

“I have a lot on my mind, Kay.” Angelica answers back. “That’s all.  I mean, if you think tonight ended things, then you’re wrong.  This is far from over…at least as far as our family is concerned…”

“If it’s Marie you’re worried about,” Jessica begins, putting her two cents in now “then you should stop worrying.  Let me take care of her.”

Angelica shakes her head. “No, you and Marie are my daughters, you both are my responsibility.  I will take care of her.”

“Whoa hold up…”

Kayla holds out her right arm to stop Angelic and Jessica from their progress.  She points dead ahead with her left hand.

“…speak of the devil.”

Standing there, not too far away in front of what happens to be Angelica and Jessica’s dressing room, turns out to be none other than Marie Annabelle Jones.  The beautiful red-headed crown jewel of Silas World (for now, as no one fully knows the future of Silas Mason) stands there wearing blue jeans, black boots, a black “Phoenix Fan” t-shirt, and her signature black leather jacket.  Her long red hair hangs unrestrained to shoulder length.  Her arms are folded over her chest.

“Marie,” Jessica’s voice is laced with a hint of surprise “what are you doing here?”

“I came to watch my sister and mother ruin their damn careers.”

“Listen here, Marie, you…”

Angelica holds up her hand to silence Jessica. “Quiet…”

The matriarch of the family turns and looks at Jessica and Kayla. “Go into the dressing room.  Get ready to leave.  I’ll be there in a moment.”

Kayla looks at Angelica skeptically. “Are you sure?”

“Positive.”

Kayla and Jessica exchange nervous looks.  Both of them don’t like the idea of leaving Angelica out here alone with Marie to talk to her and yet, despite their reluctance, they nod in agreement and head into the dressing room, shutting the door behind them to give Angelica and Marie some semblance of privacy.

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting you here tonight.”

“Oh come on, mom” Marie says sarcastically “how could I miss SCW Rise To Greatness?  How could I miss my mother and my sister throwing their careers away?  How could I miss that?”

Angelica smirks. “Then by your definition, I guess you think Regan and Sienna threw their careers away too, eh?”

“Regan, Sienna, Harmony…you…” Marie sighs out of frustration “…you are all insane!”

“Why?  Why are we insane, Marie?” Angelica asks, trying to sound genuine and sincere as she slowly and cautiously approaches her daughter. “Why should we have continued to bow down at the altar of Silas Mason?”

“Are you really that thick?”

Marie balls up her fist and gently knocks Angelica a few times on top of her head as if her head were a wooden door.

“Silas can lead you to greatness!” Marie exclaims in defense of her agent. “Just look at what I’ve accomplished under Silas Mason…former IWC World Tag Team Champion and now number one contender to the IWC Uprising World Title.”

Marie pokes her mother in the chest with her right index finger. “And YOU could have the same kind of success too here in SCW but you threw it all away here tonight!”

“Listen to yourself, Marie!” Angelica exclaims. “You sound more like his propaganda machine or personal cheerleader than you do a professional wrestler!”

“Is that so?”

Angelica nods her head. “It is but that’s not the biggest problem with you.  The biggest problem is that you earned those victories yourself, you did it on your own.  Silas Mason did nothing to help you get there.”

“So is that the real lesson of it all, huh?” Marie chuckles lightly. “My mother, the great Angelica Jones, is trying to tell me that I don’t need anyone’s help?”

Marie shakes her head. “You’re a hypocrite.”

Angelica narrows her eyes. “Excuse me?”

“You heard me.” Marie spits back. “You are a hypocrite.  You yourself have said many times, over and over again, that the entire singular purpose of professional wrestling is winning, have you not?”

“Yes…”

“So tell me, mother, do I stand a better chance at winning with the unlimited resources of someone like Silas Mason or without them?”

Angelica is about to answer but she stops as she thinks better of it.  Angelica realizes that the answer to Marie’s question is quite obvious.  She lowers her head in shame.

“…with.”

“Exactly.” Marie gets up in her own mother’s face. “And I will continue to do whatever it takes to win…just like you taught me…”

Marie turns and starts to walk away “…you should be proud of me, mother.  I turned out just like you.”

Angelica watches as her daughter walks off.  She considers calling out after her but she decides against it.  A few moments later Angelica’s younger sister Kayla steps out of the dressing room and turns, just in time to catch a final glimpse of Marie walking away.  Kayla then turns to Angelica and notices the tears forming in her eyes.  Kayla embraces her in a tight hug.

“I’m sorry, Angel.  I heard the whole thing.”

“She’s right…”

Kayla breaks the hug and stares into Angelica’s tears filled eyes. “No, Angel, she’s not right.”

“Yes she is.” Angelica nods her head. “She is absolutely right.  She is a grown woman now and she grew up into…well…me….”

Kayla shakes her head. “Don’t start blaming yourself for this, Angel.  It isn’t your fault.”

“It is my fault, sis.” Angelica insists. “And I’m going to fix it.”

“How?”

“…you don’t want to know.”

Dante McCaffery, is that your name?  Yeah, sure it is.  You’re the lucky guy who gets to face my sister on the next Breakdown.

Well, lucky may be the wrong word.  We’ll see.

I have been in this business for a very long time.  I have been inside of the ring as an active wrestler, I have been behind the desk as a booker and authority figure, I have been a trainer to future stars, and hell, I am now a manger of those same future stars.  You name it and I have done it in this industry.  I know pro-wrestling inside and out.  And do you want to know what I know about some of the people in this sport?

Everyone wants to be the most dangerous person on the roster.  That’s what all the cool kids want to do, right?  So everyone tries up the ante.  Everyone tries to up the violence level or tries to learn every dirty trick in the book to make themselves more and more dangerous.  And while somebody clearly must think you are among the most dangerous people on the roster…otherwise why would someone bill you as such…there is still one thing that a great many people in SCW have forgotten…

…Angelica Jones is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than anyone else on this roster.

This will be dangerous, dangerous for you Dante, because you are the one who drew the short end of the stick, you are the one who was UNLUCKY enough to be named as the next opponent of The Dragon.

There we go!  That’s the word I was looking for…

…unlucky.

Ding dong the witch is dead.

Well, I would use a much harsher term to refer to Silas Mason, but I’d rather not get censored.

The fact is that Silas World is done.  It is done, over with, finished.  We sent it to hell, we being Harmony Fisher, Angelica Jones, Regan Street, Sienna Swann, and myself, we sent Silas World straight to hell where it will burn.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, because those great women, Regan and Harmony, Sienna and Angelica, they didn’t need Silas.  They never did.  Now they can show off what they can do in SCW ON THEIR OWN TERMS!

Which brings up a good question: What the hell is Angelica Jones even doing with a match on Breakdown?  Isn’t she retired?  That WAS the stipulation of the match at Rise To Greatness, wasn’t it?  Right?

I wouldn’t get too caught up in that mystery if I were you, McCaffery.  Regardless of her future with SCW, Angelica Jones IS coming for you and there is no stopping her.

Let It Go
Act 1 ; Scene 2

==========

Needless to say, Angelica’s most recent encounter with her oldest daughter did not go the way she had hoped.  Marie stormed away after calling her a hypocrite.  The more the two talk, the further apart it would appear that they grow.

Angelica cannot help but feel as if this is all her fault.  It was her that convinced Marie to sign with Silas World.  So for Marie to see Angelica abandon Silas Mason, to assault him on Rise To Greatness, must have seemed hypocritical to her.  Angelica Jones had always preached that wrestling was all about winning.  That’s all Marie did.  She signed with Silas Mason in hopes of getting easy wins.  That’s what her mother taught her, right?

This is something that has gone on for a long time.  Growing up, Marie witnessed her mother do whatever it took to get ahead.  Right and wrong was never important to Angelica.  Marie grew frustrated and angry with her mother for preaching right and wrong to her at home but inside the ring doing whatever it took, even if it meant doing the wrong thing.  Their relationship has never been the same since.  Marie never truly trusted Angelica since that point and, despite her best efforts, Angelica never could win her trust back.

Is it just fate that Angelica and her daughter Marie will never have that close relationship most mothers and daughters do?  Does Angelica have any hope of repairing this relationship or should she just accept reality?  Is there anything she can do?

Angelica Jones believes that she only has one chance at repairing the relationship between her and her daughter and that is to talk to someone with experience in this, far more experience than Angelica, and it will be yet another encounter that Angelica will find truly difficult.

On the outskirts of Boston, Massachusetts is a lowly cemetery.  Inside this cemetery are trees, some are alive and well, but most of them are dying.  The grass is also dying, as indicated by its brownish color.  This is an older cemetery with large tombstones – some toppled, some crumbling from age.  Not a person, squirrel or even bird can be seen.  Its eerily quiet and empty, just completely empty.  Off to one side a new looking headstone stands out. Even the ground in front of the stone is fresh dirt.  The smell of moss and decaying leaves permeates the air.

Off in the distance is a marble stately mausoleum, which is in direct contrast to the rest of the cemetery, which is in clear disarray and has been neglected.

Standing directly in front of the entrance to this magnificent mausoleum is a blonde haired female, wearing a ankle length black skirt, a white silky blouse, and a black jacket.  Her feet are encased in black high heeled pumps and her eyes are covered by sunglasses.  This is none other than Angelica Jones, who has had her naturally red hair dyed blonde recently.

A few moments later the Dragon is joined by a male.  He towers over her at six foot two inches and, while you can’t tell it based upon his clothing, he is muscular.  He wears blue denim jeans, black boots, a white button up shirt, and a thick denim coat.  He has dark brown scruffy-looking hair.

Angelica turns and looks at the newcomer.  Her face remains stoic and emotionless. “Hi, daddy…”

The newcomer is Bart Jones, the father of Angelica and Kayla Jones.

“Hi there, my little Angel.” The older man says. “I am so glad to see you and…”

He sighs “…I was surprised you called.”

“Yeah,” Angelica’s voice trails off for a moment “I was kind of surprised too.”

The story about Bart Jones is a complicated and a nasty one to say the very least.  Bart Jones had a job working for the FBI.  Angelica and Kayla never knew specifically what his duties entailed.  They just accepted that their father worked long hours, sometimes overnight, but that he provided for them, and that he gave them a good life.

And then that horrible night came, that horrible night when a man broke into their home targeting Bart Jones but he was not there.  So instead the intruder sent a message to Bart through his wife.  He raped and killed her.

Poor Angelica was forced to watch the whole thing.

Weeks passed as Angelica and Kayla tried to cope with the death of their mother.  And then the next tragedy hit; Bart Jones inexplicably sent his daughters away, both to social services where the two sisters were separated from one another.

Yes, Angelica and Kayla did survive and yes, they did eventually reunite, but they never forgot what happened that horrible night and they never forgot their father’s reaction to it…

…he ran away from his parental responsibilities.

Kayla Jones has never forgiven him for it and, perhaps, she never will.  But then again, after she was sent away she ended up in a situation where she was abused and molested by her foster father.  Angelica, at least, is willing to be polite with him.

“So, have you been keeping yourself busy?” He asks quietly.

“Yeah…” Angelica’s voice trails off again as she reaches up to wipe tears out of her eyes “…I guess…”

Bart reaches out and places an arm around Angelica’s shoulder.

“Are you ok, Angel?”

“I will be, it’s just that…” she motions with her left hand towards the mausoleum “being here brings back memories…”

Bart nods his head. “I know, dear.  I miss your mother too.”

Kelly Jones, Angelica and Kayla’s mother and Bart Jones’s wife, lies in rest here within the mausoleum.  This is where Angelica chose to meet Bart because she knows that he visits it frequently, just as she does.

“Then why did you let it happen?!” Angelica exclaims out loud. “Why did you let her die?!”

“If I could have saved her, I would have.”

“But she died because someone came after you!” Angelica shouts. “YOU!”

“I know…” Bart says, nodding his head “…I know…”

Angelica buries her face into her father’s shoulder and cries.  Bart gently pats her on the back.

“It’s ok…just let it out…let it all out…”

Angelica does just that for several more moments, all the while Bart holds her tight.  You wouldn’t know that Angelica still bears hard feelings for him.  In a way, it’s almost like Angelica’s relationship with her daughter Marie.  There are times when they argue bitterly and there are times when you cannot tell that there is a problem at all.

Angelica breaks away from the hug.  She looks up at her father and forces a smile onto her face as she wipes the tears from her eyes.

“I think I’m better now…”

“Are you sure?”

She shakes her head. “No, but then again, I probably never will be ok when it comes to mom’s death.”

“Good.” Bart smiles knowingly. “You wouldn’t be human otherwise.”

Angelica laughs lightly. “Good to know.”

Bart looks at his daughter skeptically. “So what do you need, Angel?”

“You’re automatically assuming I need something from you?”

“You forget who I work for.” Bart smirks. “Being a part of the FBI can give you certain skills.”

“Skills that you have acquired over a very long career?  Skills that make you a nightmare for people like me?”

Father and daughter share a big, hearty laugh.

“Great movie…”

“One of your favorites, if I recall.”  Angelica says with a wink.

“Right, well, as I said, I have certain skills that I have learned from my work at the FBI and among those are detective skills.  Besides, I think I know my own daughter.”

“Ok, you have a point…”

“Good, so now that we have that out of the way, what is it that I can do for you?”

Angelica pauses momentarily, staring him in the eyes, before finally sighing deeply.

“It’s about Marie…”

“Ah yes,” Bart nods his head “I was wondering when you were going to come to me about this.”

“You know?”

“I suspected.” He grins knowingly. “I don’t completely ignore the television.  I watch iWC…well, only Uprising because my granddaughter is there, and I watch SCW every chance I can hoping I can see my granddaughter Jessica and my daughter…”

He runs a hand through her long blonde hair “…Angelica.”

“What do you know?”

“From what I’ve been witnessing, it would appear that Marie is a loyal Silas Mason soldier and you are not, and that naturally creates tension between the two of you.”

Angelica nods her head. “Yes, but really that was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

“Oh?”

“I know it’s hard to believe with me, but I did try to teach her right from wrong.  And I guess that’s the problem, really.  While I taught her right from wrong, I did not practice it in the ring.”

“I see,” Bart says with a sad smile “and Marie watched you do the exact opposite of what you told her to do.”

“She watched it all of her life.” Angelica states. “Now she’s become me…and now…”

She lowers her head “…now she hates me.”

“Now I know why you want MY help.”

“Huh?”

“Quite simply put, just as you say Marie has become you, YOU have become like me.”

Angelica frowns. “Ok, explain yourself on that one, dad.”

“It isn’t hard to figure out.” Bart explains. “You’re telling me that Marie hates you because of things you did in the past.  Your sister hates me and at the very least you don’t like me either.”

“That’s not true!” Angelica exclaims.

“Don’t lie to me, Little Angel.”

Angelica stares at him intensely before finally sighing. “You’re…you’re right…”

“It’s ok, I’ve accepted that you and your sister probably will never again like me, let alone love and accept me as your father.  But it won’t stop me from doing what I can to help you two girls whenever I can, and that’s what you should do with your own daughter.  You can’t stop trying, don’t give up on her, she wants to love and accept you, you just have to reach her somehow.”

“But dad…if you’re so convinced that Marie wants to love and accept me, then why can’t you believe that Kayla and I also have that same desire inside us?”

Bart frowns. “You, maybe…but Kayla?”

He shakes his head. “Your sister hates me, Angel, and I fear that will never change.”

Angelica reaches out and embraces her father in one more hug.

“Then maybe we can change that too, starting right here with you and me.  I think it’s time we take our not-so-pleasant past and just let it go.”

“Yeah…” Bart smiles “…let it go.”

Click…click…click…click…

Do you hear that?  That’s the sound of a female’s high heel shoes clicking noisily across a hardwood floor.  Our scene opens inside of an empty gymnasium.  There is a wrestling ring set-up in the center of the gymnasium.  The camera zooms in so that we are now staring fairly close at the ringside area, specifically at the ring apron itself.  The clicking sounds gets closer and closer as we watch.  Eventually a female figure steps into view.  This woman turns and hops up onto the ring apron, sits down, and crosses her legs.  A smug look is wrapped around this woman’s face, going from ear to ear.

This is none other than Angelica Jones.

The beautiful dragon of professional wrestling is wearing a strapless red top that is slightly décolleté, just low enough to see her shoulders and just a small amount of her breasts.  The bottom half is encased in a red A-Line skirt with a hemline that stops just below the knee.  She is wearing black high heeled sandals on her feet.  Her long hair is naturally red but, on this occasion, it is dyed blonde and is left to hang unrestrained to shoulder length.

Normally, seeing Angelica Jones here to cut a promo would not be unusual.  The fact that she is here after losing a match where her career was on the line at Rise To Greatness IS rather unusual and begs the question; why is she here?  How is she here?

“Do not adjust your television sets, ladies and gentlemen.  What you see before you is not an illusion, it is not a lie, it is not your mind playing tricks on you.  What you see before you is very, very real.  I am Angelica Jones, I am The Dragon, and I am here right now before your very eyes...”

She chuckles lightly “…well, before your very television sets anyway.”

“Now I know what you are thinking, I know what is on most of your minds right now.  Rise To Greatness 2015, The Dragon put her career on the line against a Silas World contingent and, despite my best efforts, my team lost.  My team lost and that should mean my career is over, right?”

Another series of laughs comes out of her mouth as Angelica shakes her head.

“Were it any other superstar on the SCW roster, then that might be the case, but the thing with me is that I am Angelica Jones and no one ever has all of the answers when it comes to me.  And no one ever will have all the answers about me.  In the words of that toupee wearing nincompoop Donald Trump, that is one piece of leverage that I am not willing to give up so easily.  But don’t worry, ladies and gentlemen of the SCW universe, a few of your questions will be answered in due time.  One thing I will say is this…”

Jones frowns “…many, many people have tried to take me out over the course of my career.  Every so often the new badass in town would come along and try to make a name for himself by taking me down and every single time I would end up teaching him or her a lesson by beating the holy hell out of them.  Sometimes a corporate fat cat in the upper echelon of the executive in charge of the wrestling company itself would try to take me out through legal means and I would always prove to be smarter, more intelligent, more cunning, and more cutthroat than them.  I have even had people like Silas Mason who tried to use both physicality and legality to take me down and, just like all the others, he failed.”

“It’s just like I said a few days prior to Rise To Greatness, I will leave this industry someday.  I will retire someday.  But I will retire on MY terms.  I will leave when I say it is time to leave and there is no force on heaven above, hell below, or the face of this earth that can make that decision for me.”

The Dragon shakes her head. “Don’t get any funny ideas or delusions of grandeur, Dante, because you damn sure don’t have what it takes to get the job done either.”

“Dante McCaffery,” a smug grin forms across her face “you’re one of the most dangerous people on the SCW roster, right?  Well, at least that’s what that cute little hype blurb tells me.  So I assume someone in the front offices must think so.  But is it true?”

Angelica shrugs her shoulders. “Who knows?  But I am anxious to find out for myself just how dangerous you really are.  But Dante, my friend, are you prepared to find out just how dangerous I can be?”

The Dragon hops up off of the ring apron and stands up on the floor.

“There are many people within The Triad, not just SCW, who are considered dangerous or deadly.  I don’t have to name names.  Everyone knows who they are.  The biggest difference between them and me is that theirs is an uncontrollable darkness.  It’s there twenty-four seven, three sixty five.  And that’s exactly what makes me the worst of them all, that’s what makes The Dragon the deadliest because I control my darkness.  Anytime I want to unleash hell, I can and I will and once I do unleash it, there is no stopping it, least of all from you.”

She nods her head. “You may be dangerous, but I am much more dangerous than you.”

“We are similar, though, in other ways.  Winning is what this business is about and I am not above doing what it takes to win.  I won’t deny my past.  Even though I may be cheered now by the fans simply because I turned on Silas Mason, the fans may worship me like a hero now because I helped beat the crap out of him at Rise To Greatness, but I will not be like some people in The Triad.  I won’t pretend to be something I’m not.  I am no hero.  But what I am is one of the smartest wrestlers in this game and I am someone who knows every dirty trick in the book.  So if you think you’re going to get one over on me, think again.  I am ready for anything and I am damn sure ready for your ilk.”

“It’s just like I said, Dante,” she points a long slender finger at the camera “are YOU ready for me?  That is the real question you should be asking yourself because I am a Dragon, I am a monster, and I am a different kind of monster that you have ever had to face since your arrival here in SCW and that’s a guarantee.”

“So please, please do ask yourself if you are ready for me, and if the answer to that question is yes then let me tell you that you are deluding yourself.  Had we been scheduled to fight a month or two months ago then maybe you would have been ready.”

Jones smirks as she shakes her head. “You’re not ready for this.  This is a new Angelica Jones, a rejuvenated Angelica Jones.  This is an Angelica Jones with a renewed sense of purpose and a determination to get to the top of the SCW mountain and, my poor pathetic friend, it appears as if my journey starts with you.”

Angelica mockingly waves. “Goodbye!  See you soon…”
