The Hall at Patriots Place

“Is this really a good idea?”

Angelica’s voice is filled with doubt and nerves.  Her sister Kayla seems more determined and much more courageous than Angelica as she nods her head definitively.

“Yes, we have to get it over with.  Now.”

Kayla is referring to the mystery of her the woman known as Anastasia Jones, the Russian who claims to be their adopted sister.  Everything they have learned thus far seem to match up with the story.  Bart Jones, Angelica and Kayla’s father, went to Russia and while in Moscow rescued an infant child from the hands of the Russian Mafia.  The thing is, everyone thought that was the end of it…including Bart Jones, who did not bring her over to the United States.

Yet pictures and letters tell a different story.  The woman known as Anastasia has been stalking Angelica and Kayla, demanding an audience, claiming she is their sister.  The only way they can get real answers is to confront her, face to face, and in person.

But if she has truly lived her entire life in Russia, as Bart Jones fears, then more questions remain, such as who raised her the rest of the time?  Who brought her to the United States?  And what is her real agenda?  Why does she want to meet with Angelica and Kayla?

Needless to say, meeting Anastasia may not be the safest of ideas, so Angelica and Kayla made certain that this first meeting would be conducted in a public place, a VERY public place, where there would be lots of people, lots of eyes…

…lots of witnesses.

A large cylindrical building towers high above its surroundings in Foxborough, Massachusetts.  In the center at the top is the New England Patriot logo with “The Hall” written below it.  Then we see a red overhang and underneath it the same New England Patriot logo with “The Hall” written down.  To its left is The Patriots Pro-Shop and to the right is the entrance to The Hall itself.  This is Patriot Place, where Patriots Nation gather to celebrate their team.  Standing there out in front of this famous building is none other than a few of this team’s more popular, celebrity fans; namely, Angelica Jones and her sister Kayla, as well as Angelica’s youngest child, Kelly Jones.  The mother is wearing long black dress pants, black high heeled pumps, and a red long sleeved sweater.  Her long gorgeous red locks of hair hang unrestrained to just below her shoulders. Angelica’s sister Kayla is wearing denim jeans, black flats, and a black SCW t-shirt.  Her long red hair is pulled into a ponytail in the back.  Young Kelly is wearing denim blue jeans, flip flops, and a “Sisterhood” t-shirt.  Her long red hair hangs unrestrained to shoulder length.

The two elder Jones women have been here frequently.  They are quite possibly the biggest Patriot fans in the New England area and they cannot get enough of The Hall.  Perhaps this is why Angelica and Kayla stare in awe at this impressive sight?  Granted, it is only impressive to Patriot fans, but that’s beside the point.  But Angelica’s daughter, Kayla’s niece Kelly Jones, has never been here before.  This is her first time visiting.  Perhaps this is why she has a rather confused look etched upon her youthful features?

“Uh, mom…”

“Yes honey?”

Angelica asks this question without even bothering to avert her eyes away from staring at Patriot Place.

“What is this place?”

“This place?”

Angelica asks this before turning and bending over just slightly so that she and her daughter are eye level with one another.  A proud smile is etched across the mother’s face as she gazes deep into her daughter’s eyes.

“This place is a tribute to all of the good heroes of Boston lore.”

“Oh, you mean people like Paul Revere or Samuel Adams?”

Angelica frowns. “NO!”

Angelica stands up and waves her arm towards Patriot Place and The Hall.

“This is where we enshrine and remember the great heroes, heroes like Tom Brady and Bill Belichick!”

“What did they do again?”

Kelly asks, looking and sounding genuinely confused.

“They won four Super Bowls and in the process slayed the evil that is Peyton Manning.”

That time it was Kayla.  Kelly turns towards her aunt and looks up, frowning.

“Peyton Manning?”

“He’s an incarnation of Lucifer, sweetie.”

Kayla pats her niece, hoping she will accept this explanation.  Lucky for Kayla, the younger Jones does indeed sigh and accept it, staring ahead at the large prestigious building.

“Take a picture, it will last longer.”

The stranger’s voice startles the trio.  Angelica and Kayla turn around, making certain that Kelly is safely tucked behind them.  They rest their eyes on a red headed woman, looking much more youthful than them.  A wide grin is on her face.  She is wearing a red maxi skirt and a black long sleeved sweater.  She playfully waves at the women.

“Privetstvuyu,” there is a thick Russian accent there as she extends her hand “I am Anastasia…Anastasia Jones.”

“Yeah, we’ve heard of you.”

Kayla sneers while Angelica looks at her curiously, skeptically, but neither accept the handshake Anastasia offered.  The Russian withdraws her hand and then looks from side to side and even up at Patriot Place.

“This is quite an impressive establishment.”

“Thank you.”

Angelica’s voice drips with suspicion as she continues to read Anastasia, who just chuckles lightly under her breath.

“But really, sestry, why the distrust?”

“Distrust?”

Angelica arches her brow.  Anastasia nods her head and motions to the surroundings, to Patriot Place and to the people walking to and fro all over…

“Why yes, is that not why you chose to meet me in such a public place?  We have no privacy.  So many people…so many people…”

“You have given us no reason to trust you.” Kayla retorts. “You have been stalking us.”

“I merely sent you pictures, that is all.” Anastasia giggles lightly. “I had to get your attention.”

“WELL NOW YOU HAVE OUR ATTENTION!”

Kayla’s voice is loud and reverberates.  Anastasia seems un-phased by this as she just stares back at her.  Angelica looks down at Kelly and points towards the Patriot Place Pro-Shop.

“Why don’t you go inside and find something you like.  I’ll be in later to buy it for you, ok?”

“But I want to get to know…”

“GO!”

Angelica’s louder, sterner voice is enough to convince Kelly to take her leave, making her exit.  Angelica then stands back up and turns to face Anastasia, standing side by side with her sister Kayla.  Anastasia watches as the young girl who may be her niece walks away.  She grins as she looks back at Angelica and Kayla, who stare back at her with dead serious looks upon their faces.

“I take it you don't want the young, innocent ears to hear our conversation?”

“We want her safe.” Angelica remarks.

“Safe from what?” Anastasia asks, feigning innocence.

“Safe from you!”

Kayla snaps at Anastasia, pointing an accusatory finger at the woman who claims to be her adopted sister.  Anastasia just shrugs, still grinning from ear to ear.

“I have done nothing to you.”

“You have done nothing to us...yet...” Angelica chimes in “...and we would like to keep it that way.”

“I am no threat.  Of that I can assure you.” Anastasia answers, shaking her head.

“Forgive us if we don't believe you.”

Kayla folds her arms over chest.  Angelica follows suit.  The pair study the newcomer carefully with cold, intense eyes.  Anastasia just laughs light-heartedly as she once again looks from side to side as if taking in the surroundings.

“You really do have a wonderful city here, my sestry.  This is quite a lovely place.  I may move down here permanently.”

“Move?” Angelica asks.

“Yes, move.  I used to live in Moscow but now I wish to live in the great bastion of freedom and liberty, as you call it; the United States of America.”

“Why?”

“To be closer to my family.”

Anastasia responds with a knowing grin and a wink.  Kayla, feeling a sense of frustration building up within her, begins to speak.

“Look, just tell us what you want and get it over with.”

The tension is thick and intense as the pair of biological sisters stare back at this Russian who claims to be an adopted sister.  The grin on her face is deceptive and Angelica and Kayla both sense it.  They just wish they knew what was truly going on.

“I actually want two things,” she holds up two fingers “one is rather sentimental but the other is a little, as you say, selfish.”

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“First, I want a family.”

“A family?”

Angelica repeats this, not quite sure she believes her ears.  Kayla is a little stunned herself but refuses to blink or break the angry gaze she has currently formed upon Anastasia.

“Yes, a family.  As you should know by now, I was abandoned by my matushka.  Then our dear otets abandoned me as well.  I have no one.  No parent, no siblings.  Just the two of you to connect with and to bond with.  I want a family and I wish it to be you, my sestry.”

Kayla shakes her head vehemently. “You are absolutely freaking insa…”

Before Kayla can even finish the sentence, her older sister Angelica holds up a hand, signaling for her to remain silent.  Kayla obeys, although reluctantly.

“What else do you want?” Angelica asks.

“You did note that I said my matushka and our otets abandoned me, did you not?  My matushka is dead.  Bart Jones is still very much alive and kicking, as they say, but he is quite a hard man to track down.”

“You mean…”

Angelica’s voice trails off as she tries to comprehend what Anastasia is implying.

“If you mean to say, have I been tracking Bart Jones down as well, then yes, I have.  In fact, I have been trying to find him long before I tried to find you.  Truthfully, I gave up on him after a while and chose to go after you.”

“Why us?” Kayla asks in a demanding tone.

“You were easier to find.” Anastasia smirks. “Two of Supreme Championship Wrestling’s top stars!”

Angelica sighs and nods her head.  Of course their celebrity would betray them.

“So you wanted our father, but you found us instead?”

“Right, because I want you to arrange a meeting between me and our otets.”

“Why?”

“Revenge.” Anastasia’s smile turns cold and sinister. “He abandoned me in Moscow.  Surely you can empathize with my plight.”

She points at Angelica. “He abandoned you to a Catholic convent and mental illness and attempted suicide.”

She points at Kayla. “He abandoned you to an abusive drunk who beat and molested you damn near every night.”

Anastasia motions to herself. “He abandoned me as well and all I want is revenge.  I can get revenge for all of us.  All you need to do is to tell me where he is and our business is done.”

Angelica and Kayla exchange looks.

“What do you think?” Kayla asks.

“I think our answer is pretty clear.”

“I agree.”

Kayla turns and glares back at Anastasia.

“No way!”

“But our otets has hurt you in much the same way he hurt me…”

“We may have our issues with our father.  Sometimes I hate the man’s guts.  But he is still our father and one thing me and Angelica will never do is betray our blood.  And you, you are NOT our blood.”

Anastasia sighs and shakes her head. “Wrong answer, sestra.”

“Wrong answer?”

Anastasia grins, despite being rejected.

“Yes, that was the wrong answer.  You have set yourselves up as my enemies and now I must go to greater lengths to achieve my goals.”

“What are you going to do?” Angelica demands.

“Wait and see!” Anastasia says giggling. “All I shall say is this, you will regret your rejection and  before the year is out, I will not only have my revenge but you will beg and plead on your hands and knees to be my family.”

Anastasia walks off and Angelica and Kayla stare at her, nervously.

We open in front of an off white wall.  Part of the wall is actually a mural with New England Patriot logos and players in the background and in the foreground there is a timeline on the mural illustrating from the team’s beginning all the way up until the present day.  Standing on one side of the mural is Angelica Jones and on the other side is her sister Kayla Jones.  The Sisterhood members are grinning confidently and arrogantly with their smug appearance and cocky demeanor as they stare into the camera.

“Finally, after traveling this disgusting, perverse nation,” Kayla begins as she spits out the words like venom “Supreme Championship Wrestling is taking Breakdown on the road to a city that stands high above the filth that permeates the rest of this hell hole.”

Angelica nods her head.

“That’s right, sis. Breakdown will be live in a clean city full of conscientious and intelligent people, but it will be live from the city that produces the greatest athletes in the history of sports.  This city produced the Boston Bruins, the Boston Red Sox, and of course, the greatest football team ever, The New England Patriots!”

Kayla and Angelica both motion to the New England Patriots mural behind them.

“Welcome to The Hall at Patriot’s Place!”

Kayla steps forward and begins to speak.

“We want to thank SCW for finally bringing Breakdown to a city that will respect true talent, REAL talent.  The citizens of Boston, Massachusetts KNOW talent when they see it and they will appreciate everything that their daughters, Angelica and myself, have done for them in the past, and will continue to do for them in the future.  Just as Foxborough, Boston, the rest of Massachusetts, and all the rest of the New England area, respect the New England Patriots for what they’ve done for football.”

Angelica steps forward and begins to speak.

“The Patriots have done a great deal for the sport of football, as illustrated in the mural behind us.  This Hall is set up by the Patriots Organization to honor and pay tribute to the great men who helped make the Patriots what it is today, men like Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and especially the Kraft family.  Few will ever make this great hall, a hall of perfection.”

Kayla motions to herself and her sister Angelica.

“Only the Jones Family can argue that they have done as much if not more for sports and for the betterment of the New England area in general, because what you have here between myself and my sister Angelica is not just a Sisterhood, but a royal sisterhood of two queens that stand high atop the tag team division in professional wrestling, because quite honestly, not a damn team in this sport measures up to us.”

“That’s right,” Angelica chimes in “and we have been begging SCW and Mr. D to put us back into the tag team division because we want our championships back.  Championships that we NEVER should have lost in the first place!”

Kayla shakes her head. “It was a clear conspiracy against us!  Just as it was a conspiracy by the NFL by rigging the AFC Championship game so that an old piece of dinosaur crap named Peyton Manning could win another fucking championship, the SCW rigged it so that Autumn Valentine and that Winchester kid could be tag champs.”

“We were NEVER pinned and we NEVER submitted!” Angelica declares triumphantly. “Valentine and Winchester may have the titles but everyone knows that those titles belong to The Sisterhood.  We are tag team greatness.  We are tag team elite.”

“And the conspiracy continued when SCW put Angelica here in the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament all with the purpose of trying to keep the two of us OUT of the tag team division and to PROTECT Autumn and Winchester.”

Angelica smirks. “And finally, after much protest, SCW gives us what we want…except they give us Adrenaline Rush.”

“Tyler Tucker and Craig Thomas,” Kayla sighs and shakes her head almost as if in disgust “let’s get one thing clear.  Me and Angelica are great, you two clowns are not.  We are way up high on the totem pole while you are bottom feeding roaches.”

“We are not taking you seriously.  I mean, me and Kayla could stand here all day long and all night long coming up with some real nice, fanciful verbal attacks but we’d just be wasting our time and we’d be completely dishonest.  And never let it be said that The Sisterhood was ever dishonest.”

Kayla shakes her head. “We are always completely one-hundred percent honest, just as our New England Patriots are completely one-hundred percent honest.  They never cheat and neither do we.  They are always transparent and so are we.  I mean, they don’t have to lie about who they are and they don’t have to cheat to win.”

Angelica shrugs her shoulders. “What’s the point?  Why not just tell it like it is?  Thus, The Sisterhood will tell it like it is to your youthful rejects and maybe, just maybe, it will get through your thick skulls that you don’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell against us.”

“It’s like this, little boys,” Kayla remarks “we are The New England Patriots, the BEST team in NFL history, and you two are the Cleveland Browns, the WORST team in NFL history.”

Angelica looks over at Kayla. “Why are they called The Browns?”

Kayla smirks. “Because they’re full of shit?”

“Sounds right.”

“In any event,” Kayla continues “no, we don’t take you seriously because we are in a league of our own and we, quite frankly, are going to use you as a stepping stone towards bigger and better things.”

“We want those tag titles back, boys,” Angelica chimes in “and for some reason unknown to me, SCW thinks you are worthy enough challengers to put in our way.”

Angelica shakes her head. “You are not worthy to lace up our boots, you piece of shit.  We’re going to smoke your asses and anyone else’s ass who SCW decides to put in our way until we get what we want.”

Angelica walks off screen.  Kayla winks back at the camera.

“See you soon, boys…”

Kayla walks off screen.  The camera fades to black.

Tag Team Unity

==========
Off Camera
==========

It is a bitter cold day in Boston, Massachusetts as Bart Jones, the father of Angelica and Kayla Jones, together known as The Sisterhood, stands in a bright and yet, by contrast dreary, cemetery near Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church where the family grew up.  Age has caught up with him.  Age had not been kind to him even before he returned to the United States from Russia decades ago to reunite with his daughters.  Now the gray hairs and bristly beard tells the story of an old war horse who has been through pure hell on earth during his lifetime and has yet survived it all.  He survived the Russian Mafia going after him, he survived being separated from his family, he survived his daughters turning on him, and he stands here today, alive, well, and, as far as he knows, fully reunited with his children, with Angelica and Kayla, just as he had wanted so long ago.

Or so he thinks…

The grizzled and aged former FBI agent stands at the entrance to the cemetery’s Mausoleum.  He recently received a call from his daughters, Angelica specifically, with one simple request: meet them at the cemetery.  Bart has no idea what Angelica and Kayla want but when they ask to meet them at “the cemetery” he knows which one they mean.  They mean the Mausoleum that contains the remains of Kelly Jones, Angelica and Kayla’s mother, and Bart’s wife.

This particular spot is very important to the Jones family and especially to Angelica and Kayla.  Therefore, Bart knows that whenever they want to meet here that it must be something important that they want to discuss and it is for that reason that Bart is slightly concerned.  He can only wait until they arrive before he can find out what is going on.  He has been waiting for an hour now…

…his wait is over.

A hand suddenly grabs him by the throat and squeezes tightly.  Bart’s FBI training instinctively takes over and he snatches a hold of the hand and pries it off.  He is about to turn the person into a hammerlock until he sees that the hand belongs to…

“Kayla…”

Bart’s voice trails off as he lays his eyes upon his younger daughter standing there before him glaring angry dagger-like eyes into his very heart and soul.  She is wearing black leggings, black flats, and a dark red dress that stops just above the knee.  Her long red hair hangs  unrestrained to just below the shoulder.  Immediately Bart releases his grip upon her hand and backs away slowly, cautiously.

“Kayla…” he repeats “…what’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong?” She asks in an angry tone. “You should know what’s wrong!”

Bart is about to begin his defense when someone speaks up for him instead…

“Whoa, back off, sis…”

Bart and Kayla turn to see Angelica Jones approaching from the other direction.  Angelica is wearing denim jeans, a long sleeve black sweater, and a black leather jacket.  Her long red hair is also left to hang unrestrained to just below the shoulders.

“…we need to hear him out.”

“Hear him out?”  Kayla looks at her older sister incredulously. “Are you freaking nuts?!  Are you defending him?!”

“I may be nuts,” Angelica smirks knowingly “but I am NOT defending him.  I’m just saying we need to give him a chance to offer an explanation and answer some of our questions before we kick his ass.”

Kayla folds her arms over her chest. “Fine.”

“Uh, girls,” Bart interjects “if I may ask, why do you think I deserve to have my ass kicked?”

“Oh we don’t THINK you deserve to have your ass kicked,” Kayla snaps back at him “we KNOW you deserve to have your ass kicked!”

“Kayla!” Angelica snaps. “Back…off…”

Kayla sighs and shakes her head. “Sorry…”

Bart turns his attention away from the now pouting Kayla towards the still calm and collected older sibling Angelica Jones.

“What’s wrong, Angel?”

“I don’t quite know how to put it, dad.” Angelica says as she thinks things through in her mind. “I just don’t know how to properly say it or how to properly ask this, but…”

Angelica shuts her eyes tightly and sighs deeply before letting out a deep breath.  “Fact is, dad, Kayla and I recently discovered something troubling, something disturbing, and, quite honestly, you are connected to it and you owe us an explanation.”

Bart frowns.

“I wish I could deny it.  I wish I could say that I am not connected but the fact is that I know there is a good chance that I am connected.  My time working with the nation’s top law enforcement agency has caused me to make many powerful friends…as well as many powerful enemies…”

Angelica tilts her head to one side. “Right, so tell me this, does the name Anastasia mean anything to you?”

Bart and Angelica stare at one another for an indeterminate amount of time before Bart finally lets out a sigh and nods his head.

“Yes…I adopted her while I was overseas in Russia…”

“We figured that much out on our own.” Angelica remarks. “You need to tell us the rest of the story, dad.  And be honest with us.  Hold nothing back.”

“Her mother was a woman named Nicola, a prostitute who worked for the Bratva.”

“The Russian Mafia?” Angelica asked.

“That’s right.” Bart nods his head. “During that time she must have gotten pregnant and had that child.  In any event, she kept the child and tried to maintain her.  But obviously, raising a child can be expensive and she wasn’t getting much from what the Bratva was paying.  So she started cheating them out of their cut of the money.”

“I take it the mafia tried to make her disappear.”

“They tried once to make her disappear, yes…but I stopped them.  Nicola realized that the Bratva would continue to go after her until she either paid them or they killed her.  So she made the kind of decision no parent should have to make.”

“She gave up her child to you.” Angelica suggests.

“That’s right, fearing that she could no longer safely protect and raise her child, she gave her up to me. And I agreed to raise her at least until she was of age that she could make her own way.  I agreed because I knew better than anyone else what it was like to be a parent who could no longer protect his children, and thus had to give them up.”

That was NOT a good thing to say…

“YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITE!”

Kayla, who up to this point had been boiling over with rage but had managed to keep it contained to some extent, lunges forward and strikes her father with a closed fist right hand to the jaw.  Bart staggers backward, hitting the wall of the Mausoleum.  Angelica rushes forward and gets in between her sister and their father before any more blows can be dealt by Kayla.

“Kayla…please stop…”

“He gave us up!” Kayla exclaims loudly and angrily. “He gave us away like a damn coward claiming that he could no longer protect us but then he runs off to Russia and starts raising some whore’s kid?!  He is a hypocrite, Angel!”

Angelica sighs and nods her head.  She then turns around to face Bart, their father, who is rubbing his jaw in pain.

“She is right.  That was hypocritical of you.  If you couldn’t protect us, why try and protect her?”

“What should I have done?” Bart asks. “Should I have left the mother and child alone to fend for themselves?  You know what would have happened to them.”

“No we don’t.” Kayla remarks sounding almost like a petulant child.

“Be realistic, Kayla.  You know what would have happened to them against The Bratva.”

“Yeah, they would have been killed.” Angelica answers.

“So yes, I adopted the child.  But not legally.”

“What do you mean?” Angelica asks.

“I mean there was no legal adoption made.  The United States government doesn’t recognize it because I never left Russia with her.”

“Is that so?” Angelica asks, her face going slightly pale.

“Yes…” Bart’s voice trails off showing some concern “…why do you ask?”

“A woman calling herself Anastasia Jones recently started stalking us and harassing us.  She claims she is our sister.”

Bart looks genuinely shocked. “I don’t know what to say.  I guess it is possible that Anastasia could have made it to the United States but…who brought her here?  And why?”

“That’s what we’d like to know.” Angelica answers back.

“Your best bet to get those answers would be to ask her yourself.”

“Bullshit!” Kayla tries to lunge forward again but Angelica is in the way this time.

“I do not have the answers you want!” Bart exclaims. “I truly am sorry but you will not get any answers from me because I do have any.”

“Then we’ll talk to Anastasia ourselves.”

“Just be careful.” Bart answers back. “She comes from a truly deadly and dangerous life in a truly dangerous country.  I have not seen her in a long time.  I do not know what she has become since we parted ways.”

“Typical of Jones men.” Kayla spits out. “None of you are good fathers.”

With that Kayla turns and storms away.  Angelica sighs and turns towards her father.  Angelica embraces her father in a hug.

“Thank you for talking to us, dad.”

“Anytime.  Just like I said, be careful.”

From the sky we see the iconic image of Madison Square Garden in New York City extending up to the heavens in the New York City skyline.  Suddenly the camera angle cuts from hovering high into the heavens to a shot from ground level at the entrance area of the world’s most famous arena.  Angelica Jones then enters the scene from stage left.  The lovely red head is wearing a sleek and clean black pantsuit with a two button jacket and a white blouse underneath.  Her feet are encased in black high heeled pumps that match her pantsuit and she has black sunglasses covering her eyes.  The strange thing about the Boston native is what she is carrying with her today; in her left arm is a cardboard cutout of Jacob Goodman and in her other arm is a cardboard cutout of Syren.

“Welcome to New York City, the Big Apple!  I prefer Boston but, eh, this place isn’t too bad.”

Angelica smirks.  She then sets the cardboard cutouts down, one on her left and one on her right, and she stands between the two of them.

“The Trios Tournament is coming up and you have to love the combination of lethal lottery with a test of endurance that this unique event creates.  Not only do you have to survive with tag team partners you have never been with before, perhaps even people you do not like, but you have to do it for three matches!”

She holds up three fingers. “You have to win a one night single elimination tournament with this team of three that you may or may not like in order to get the prize and if you can, if you can endure the pain and suffering, if you can manage to work with your greatest enemies, then you can potentially walk out of Supreme Saturday with a Trios Contract that guarantees you a title shot.”

“Now I look at my opposition in this tournament and I see teams like Dawn Lohan, Alexis Quinne, and Bree Lancaster.  Bree may be new, but Dawn and Alexis sure are not and their twitter arguing is very public.  They can’t get along.”

Angelica shakes her head. “Not a chance.  And what about MY opponents specifically?  Ace Marshall, Jake Starr, and Derek Adonis…well no one can trust Ace, Jake hates everybody, and Derek is a sorry sack of shit.”

“Now I could go on and on but the point is that these teams are a great big pile of jumbled up crap.  Each team has so many combustible elements that we are all just waiting anxiously for them to explode at any moment.  Now I know what you’re thinking.  What is so different about this message?  Of course that’s what Trios is all about.  This is nothing new that I’m saying!”

Angelica laughs lightly. “I will TELL you what is so special and unique about this particular Trios tournament and that special and unique element is this team right here!”

She looks to her left at the Jacob Goodman cardboard cutout and then she looks to her right at the Syren cardboard cutout.

“Me, Syren, and Jackson Goodman here…”

Jacob (Angelica): “That’s Jacob, Ms. Jones…”

Yes, that was Angelica speaking on behalf of the cardboard cutout.  Her lips even moved, leaving no doubts…

“Whatever…me, Syren, and Goodman are a united force!  We are ready to work together to win this tournament!  Right guys?!”

Syren (Angelica): “Like, totally for sure, Angelica!  You are soooo awesome and this is a complete honor and privilege to be teaming with a legend like you!  Finally I get to team with someone with talent unlike that lazy bitch Ravyn!”

Yeah, that was Angelica too…she’s a terrible ventriloquist…

Jacob (Angelica): “It is an honor to be working with you, Ms. Jones, and I hope by teaming with you and by allowing you to carry my sorry ass to the Trios Tournament Victory that I will learn something from you.”

Angelica nods her head. “Yes, that is a dream of everyone in SCW, to learn from yours truly, but unfortunately neither you nor Syren will ever be quite as good as I am, but it is a good thing that you two losers will never be quite as awesome or as talented and definitely not as sexy,”

She winks at the camera “as The Dragon.  Am I right?”

Syren (Angelica):  “That’s right, Angelica!  I will never be as good as you, no matter how hard I try!”

Angelica snickers nastily. “But together…”

Angelica pauses, thinking over what she is about to say, and then changes her mind…

“…well, mainly ME, because I’m gonna carry this team during Supreme Saturday! I will make history in Madison Square Garden where I have made history time and time again!  I will single handedly win the Trios Tournament while you two can sit back, relax, and watch and be grateful to me, singing my praises afterwards along with the rest of the peons and peasants who are lucky to be in the presence of greatness, greatness like Angelica Jones!”

Jacob (Angelica):  “Thank you, Ms. Jones, for putting up with us and for winning the Trios Tournament for us!”

Syren (Angelica):  “Yes, thank you Angelica!”

“You are welcome, Goodman.  You are welcome Syren.  After all, it is thanks to me, me and me alone, that we will defeat the three stooges of Ace Marshall, Jake Starr, and Derek Adonis.  And it will be thanks to me and me alone that we will advance to win it all!  ALL HAILL JONES!”

Jacob & Syren (Angelica): “ALL HAIL ANGELICA JONES!”
