War Is Hell

==========
Scene 1

==========

Angelica Jones sits on a plush black leather sofa, her legs crossed, watching the monitor, watching the proceedings of her first FRONTIER event as the owner of this small British wrestling organization.  The tight black skirt she is sporting stops just above her knees and the open toed high heel shoes adds to her overall beauty.  The red silk blouse and black leather jacket top off the attire.  Next to Jones is her wife, Lindsey Carter, the woman who is indirectly responsible for Angelica’s ownership of FRONTIER.  Carter is wearing a tight, form fitting leopard print dress that shows off all of her luscious curves.  The feet of this business woman are encased in high heeled pumps and her long dark brown hair hangs down to shoulder length.

Jones alone did not have the purchasing price to snatch FRONTIER out from under its former owner CJ Osborne but with the assistance of her wife’s immense wealth she was able to buy this company.  Technically, both lovers own it together, but Lindsey really just lets Angelica run the ship.  Lindsey knows business, Angelica knows wrestling, and that is how it should be.

That is why Lindsey Carter has never once interfered in her wife’s wrestling career.  Well, ok, that’s not exactly true.  One time Lindsey did choose to interfere in Angelica’s career and that was several months ago when she was still being managed by Samantha Hodgson.  The relationship between Jones and Hodgson had already become strained and tense as Hodgson became more controlling and the independent, free spirited Jones didn’t like it.  It was to the point that Hodgson wanted Jones to hide the fact that she was married to Lindsey Carter.  She felt that a wrestling company like Supreme Championship Wrestling would not approve of an openly lesbian competitor, let alone an openly lesbian champion, and that would hinder her from getting any title opportunities.

Silas Mason, being the snake in the grass con man that he is, knew an opportunity when he saw it and proposed that Angelica Jones should join him in Silas World.  Lindsey knew of the deal and while she did not approve of Mason’s tactics as a businessman, she definitely did not approve of Samantha Hodgson’s homophobic attitude.  So she made up lies to tell Angelica, lied to her about the way Samantha secretly had treated Lindsey.  Angelica believed those lies, she bought them hook, line, and sinker.  And those lies caused Angelica to finally dump Samantha Hodgson and sent her right into the waiting arms of Silas Mason.

People have warned Angelica about Silas Mason.  Most recently Shaun Cruze warned Angelica about Silas.  Lindsey Carter does a good job of making sure her red-headed lover doesn’t pay too much attention to the warnings of people like Cruze.  The truth is, Lindsey knows what kind of person Silas Mason is.  She has had to deal with his type in the business world.  Hell, she has utilized those same tactics before to get a business deal done.  Lindsey thinks she can deal with Silas Mason if push came to shove and she would rather deal with him than deal with a homophobe like Samantha Hodgson.

“So, do you like what you see?”

Angelica says this as she reaches over for the remote and shuts off the monitor with one press of a button.  Carter, who had been resting her head on Angelica’s chest, looks up and smiles across at Jones before giving her a gentle peck on the lips.

“Oh hell yes…”

The Boston native grins with pride, pride in the product her roster put out, the show they put on tonight.  Her first night was definitely a success.

“I have to admit, it was some pretty good booking if I do say so myself.”

“I wasn’t talking about the wrestling card, Angel.” Lindsey retorts seductively with a wink.

“You dirty little minx…” Angelica leans in and returns the favor with a kiss of her own, right on Lindsey’s pouty red lips.

Wrestling is Angelica’s world.  Corporate and business dealings are all Lindsey Carter’s forte.  Lindsey, however, wanted to learn the wrestling ropes.  She wants to learn Angelica’s world and thus allowed her wife to train her.  Carter even joined a development league in order to fine tune her skill while she was undergoing her training.  Still, though, there are aspects of the game she doesn’t quite understand.  But while she may not fully understand professional wrestling she does understand Angelica Jones and she can easily tell a difference in her wife since she joined up with Silas Mason.

Jones is more confident lately.  The wrestling world would call it arrogance and maybe there is a hint of arrogance there, but it is well-earned and well-deserved arrogance.  Angelica is a good wrestler, a good competitor who has earned the respect of her peers.  And Lindsey Carter, for her part, has seen Jones when she’s been humbled.  Lindsey doesn’t like to see her like that.  She likes seeing her wife exuding the self-confidence that a former world champion exudes.

That’s yet another reason why she wanted to get Jones away from Samantha Hodgson.  Under Hodgson’s controlling thumb Jones had little to no self-confidence and Lindsey was pained to see her like that.  Say what you will about Silas Mason, that he is a scum bag and a sleaze, but he has at least helped to restore Angelica’s self-confidence by allowing her to be who she is: a goddess in the wrestling ring, a Golden Goddess.

Now, as a member of Silas World she gets to work side by side with the likes of Brittany Lohan and Harmony Fisher; even Kelcey Wallace…or Kari Mysac, whichever you prefer.  At Under Attack the foursome will face off against Jake Starr, Merrick Wiseman, Shaun Cruze, and Chris Cannon.  The match itself was meant to trap Silas World into a corner.  Lindsey knew that it wouldn’t work.  She knew Silas would have a trick up his sleeve.  People in his position usually do, Lindsey has seen it happen in the corporate world.  Silas made sure his fourth member of the squad would be Kelcey…Chris Cannon’s wife…forcing the two to fight, or one of them to give up, one or the other.  A very brilliant move on the part of Silas Mason.

The opening of the office door interrupts the kissing session between Jones and Carter.  They quickly break off the kiss and look up angrily at who the intruder is…it happens to be Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER’s head reporter Bobby Belter.  The pudgy ginger with curly hair is dressed in a sports coat, white button up shirt, and matching nice dress pants for this occasion, and while he had hoped to impress his new boss, he may have just got off on the wrong foot by interrupting her private moment with Lindsey Carter.

“What are you doing here?” Jones immediately gets up off of the sofa, leaving Carter there to watch as her lover approaches Belter and grabs him around his shirt collar. “Just what in the hell are you doing here?!”

“Um…uh…”

“My wife and I were having a private moment, Belter.” The eyes of Angelica Jones flash red with anger and rage. “And you interrupted by just barging in like you own the place?”

“Uh…sorry?”

“I own this place now, Belter!” Her voice raises quite considerably. “And I’ll…”

Lindsey Carter senses that trouble is brewing.  This is the anger that Angelica Jones tries to keep buried; the kind of rage she has trouble controlling.  It’s called The Dragon in some circles and Lindsey doesn’t want The Dragon unleashed on a poor unsuspecting employee.  That would just be bad for business.  She reaches out and places a gentle hand on Angelica’s shoulder before leaning in and kissing her on the cheek.

“It’ll be ok, Angel.”

“Huh?”

She turns and looks into her wife’s eyes.  Lindsey’s loving, tender gaze immediately melts the cold heart of The Dragon, causing Angelica to regain control of her temper.  She turns back to face Belter and frowns.

“Next time,” she releases her grip on the interviewer “you will knock!”

“Right,” he fixes his collar “apologies, Ms. Jones!”

Lindsey winks at Bobby. “You’re welcome, Bobby.”

“Uh-huh, right, thanks…”

Bobby nods his head quickly and enthusiastically.  True enough, he would have been done for had Lindsey not stopped Angelica.  He knows it too.  Lindsey goes back over to the sofa and sits down.  As soon as she does so her cell phone begins ringing.  She answers it, putting the phone up to her ear…

Meanwhile Jones turns back to face Belter…

“So what exactly can I do for you, Belter?”

“What?” Bobby Belter is still a little befuddled and confused after Angelica damn near assaulted him.

“You barged into my office for a reason, Bobby.  Why is that?!”

“Oh yeah!” He snaps his fingers as he remembers. “I just wanted a comment from you for the FRONTIER website.  You mentioned time and time again Silas Mason and Silas World.  How exactly will Silas Mason impact FRONTIER?”

“If you’re worried about Silas barging in…kind of like you did…and trying to run things, then don’t.”

“No?”

Jones shakes her head. “No, don’t worry.  The day to day operations of FRONTIER is up to me and me alone because I own it, not Silas Mason.  But understand that I am a part of Silas World and his advice will be taken under strong advisement.  Also understand that anytime he wants to show up, he can.”

She messes up his shirt collar again. “And you can also understand that I will utilize the full backing and resources of Silas World so long as they are available to me.  I mean, look at me Bobby, I am the owner of pro-wrestling FRONTIER, in GCW I will soon be Global Heavyweight Champion, and in SCW it won’t be long until I am at the top of the mountain.”

Angelica takes Belter by his shoulders and slowly but firmly turn him around so that he is facing the door.  She gives him a gentle shove indicating she wants him to leave.  If that wasn’t enough, she says it as well…

“Now then…get out.  You’ve had your interview, little boy.”

“Yes, Ms. Jones.”

With that, Bobby Belter makes a hurried exit out of the office.  Angelica folds her arms over her chest and smirks rather arrogantly, proud of her actions.  Lindsey would normally be turned on by her wife’s take charge way of handling things.  But, in this case, something  else is on her mind; namely the phone call she just got.  Angelica can tell something is wrong as she turns to face Lindsey who has a frown on her face after hanging up the cell phone.

“What’s wrong, Linds?  Do you think I treated Bobby unfairly?”

“No, what you did with him was great…but I did get a rather interesting phone call.”

“Oh?”

“It was your daughter, Marie.”

My parents taught me that there is no excuse for ignorance or stupidity.  Whether he is stupid or ignorant, certain comments made by Shaun Cruze require an answer.  Let’s face facts, to say that I have done nothing since taking on Silas Mason as my manager is not just ignorant but it is an outright stupid statement to make as well.

Allow me to spell it out clearly for you and everyone else on that little band of misfits you’re teaming up with at Under Attack.  Allow me to spell out what I have done since joining up with Silas World.  Since becoming a member of Silas World I have won world championships in two different companies and currently am the number one contender for a world title in another.  And just recently I purchased Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER.

I own my own wrestling company and soon I will have more championship gold wrapped around my waist.  If that’s what you consider failure then your standard for success must be pretty fucking high.  What I have done since joining Silas World is a career first for me.  I haven’t been this successful in this short of a period of time in my entire career.  Just because I haven’t won any gold here in Supreme Championship Wrestling doesn’t mean anything.  In fact, the only thing it does mean is that management is overlooking a megastar.

Being a part of this organization Silas has built leads to greatness.  Kelcey Wallace could have had that greatness herself but she fucked it up.  Now she lost her identity…isn’t that right Kari Mysac?  And she lost any hope of ever getting back to where she once was.

Perfect 10?  Maybe when she was with Silas, but on her own she’s a 1 and a half at best.

Loyalty to Silas Mason equals success.  If you try and fight the system…well you end up like Kari Mysac.  Flat on your back.  At Under Attack she’ll either fall in line and help us dismantle SCW’s band of misfits or she’ll suffer further humiliation.

Either way we win, because Silas World always wins in the end.

Marie Annabelle Jones is the oldest daughter of Angelica Jones.  Their story is long and complicated.  Angelica got pregnant with her when she was in a convent training to become a nun.  The birth was kept secret so long as Jones gave up the child to adoption.  Angelica Jones and her daughter Marie wouldn’t be reunited until years later and at that time The Dragon grew to have a strange attraction to the child.  Parents always have an attraction to their children, but this was different.  Angelica regretted having to give up Marie at birth.  She never forgave herself for it.  She still doesn’t forgive herself for it.  The result of her guilty conscience led to coddle Marie.  In Angelica’s own words, Marie was the glue that held her together.  Marie Annabelle Jones, in many ways, helped determine her own mother’s sanity.  When they were united as mother and daughter, as a family, Angelica was able to maintain her sanity.  Whenever Marie and her mother were at odds, whenever they were separated, Angelica’s sanity began to crumble.

Despite the differences that they have had in the past, Marie Annabelle Jones still wanted to follow in her famous mother’s footsteps and become a professional wrestler.  Angelica, being as overprotective as she is, didn’t want to see her darling daughter get her ass kicked for a living and at first refused to permit it.  But Marie inherited that stubborn streak all Jones women have and she went and trained anyway, first under the tutelage of a family friend named Blayze Alexander and then after Angelica finally relented and agreed to let her train, she received further training under her aunt Kayla Jones.

Angelica has always tried to stay out of her daughter’s business out of respect for her wishes but there are times when she sees her making a big mistake that she feels she must step in, she feels she must try and do something to help set her straight, to set her back onto the right path.  You can imagine, then, what she thought when she heard that her darling daughter had taken on Samantha Hodgson as an agent.

All of the bad memories of having to deal with Samantha Hodgson came back to Angelica.  She remembered what Hodgson was like and the shit she had to deal with under Hodgson’s thumb.  Jones did not want her daughter Marie to have to deal with that.

Unfortunately it’s been difficult for Angelica to find a time that is right for her to split up the Marie/Hodgson alliance.  Marie, for the longest time, had been thoroughly entrenched in Samantha Hodgson’s grip.  Marie had bought into her drivel.

Until now.

Only now has an opportunity arrived that may fix that…

“Marie?”

Angelica Jones was told to expect her daughter at her home in Boston, Massachusetts as soon as she arrived back in the United States after the FRONTIER event overseas.  As soon as she entered her home she jovially calls “Purgatory” she notices that the lights are off…all but the kitchen light.

“She must be in the kitchen.” That’s Lindsey Carter, who speaks to Angelica coming in right behind her carrying the bags. “You should go to her.”

Jones nods her head and quickly makes a beeline through the living room and then down the hall towards the kitchen.  The red-headed Boston native steps in through the kitchen doors and finds her daughter sitting at a small table with a glass of red wine in front of her.

“Marie?”

“I hope you don’t mind that I helped myself.” Young Marie holds up the glass of wine.

“It’s ok, you know as well as I do that anything in this house is as much yours as it is mine.”

Angelica sits down at the table next to her.  “Are you ok?”

“Not really.  Where is grandpa?”

“He moved out.”

“I guess he finally closed on that house?”

Angelica nods her head.  Bart Jones, Angelica’s father, had been staying with Angelica until he could close on a home of his own.  Marie had grown close to him recently and had valued his advice and suggestions.  No doubt she was hoping he’d be here and was disappointed to find him missing.

“Yeah, he did.”

“Can you give me his new address?”

“Sure.  I’ll give it to you before you leave.”

The younger Jones takes a sip of wine.  “Great, I sure could use his advice on the situation I find myself in.”

Jones knows very little about what is going on in Marie’s professional career.  She has tried to stay out of her dealings in the Independent Wrestling Cartel out of respect for her daughter’s wishes.  Based on what Lindsey Carter has told her, what she has seen on television, and what she has read on social media, her daughter may be having some issues with Samantha Hodgson.  Whatever the situation is, Bart Jones isn’t here to advise her on it.  Angelica, however, is…

“What’s wrong?”

“I just need some advice on what to do with my career.” Marie shakes her head. “It isn’t an easy decision.”

“Career decisions usually aren’t.” Angelica responds as she prepares to play ignorant, as if she doesn’t know what’s really wrong. “So what’s going on, sweetie?”

“I had been GCW Global Heavyweight Champion…until Samantha Hodgson screwed it up for me!  Now I lost that title to Abigail Lindsey!  I had taken IWC’s Pure Championship belt and was going to use it as leverage over Vanilla Skyy until Samantha Hodgson screwed that up too!”

She bangs her fist on the table.  “BOTH TIMES could have been avoided had Samantha done her job but she failed!  Even Ethan Von Aaron could have been of help but he was too busy ogling Rachel Frost!”

The younger Jones buries her face in her hands. “Things are not looking good for me right now, mom.”

This is an opportunity Angelica has been waiting for; Marie is questioning Samantha Hodgson and finally Angelica can get rid of her.  Finally Angelica can get rid of Samantha Hodgson from the Jones family for good.  Marie is easily influenced right now and easily manipulated.  It wouldn’t take much to talk Marie into dumping Hodgson.

“You should talk to your grandfather.”

“Huh?” Marie looks up at her mother with a genuine look of surprise on her face. “That’s all you have to say about this issue?!”

“It’s like this sweetie…” she sighs, kind of feeling surprised herself that she decided not to give in to the urge to manipulate Marie into doing what she wants “…you know my feelings towards Samantha Hodgson are not very pleasant ones.  You know exactly what I think you should do.  You don’t have to ask.”

“True…”

“I know I can’t be fair in this situation.  Your grandfather can.  Talk to him.”

“Sure.”  Marie shakes her head. “I just wish I could leave here with something for my troubles…”

Jones smirks. “Maybe you can…”

The mother produces a business card and hands it to her daughter.  She looks down at it and then back up at Angelica, frowning.

“Are you serious?”

“Yes, yes I am.”

Marie shrugs. “I’m not sure…”

“Just think about it.”

In the words of famous Civil War general William Tecumseh Sherman, war…is…hell.  War is hell and it is not a pretty thing, it is not fair, it is never ever fair.  There are no rules when it comes to war.  The only thing that matters is achieving the end goal.  The only thing that matters is victory.

Is it fair that poor Kari Mysac has to fight her own hubby wubby Chris Cannon at Under Attack?  Is it fair that she has to fight on behalf of the same people she hates?  No, it isn’t fair.  But this is war.  And in this war Kari Mysac is a weapon, and contractually speaking she is SILAS MASON’S WEAPON to use as he sees fit and he sees fit to use her as his weapon against SCW’s useless crew of idiots and nitwits.

This war is about power and it is a war that you four cannot win, because as you can see, if you can’t already tell, Silas World is prepared to do anything and use any and all weapons at our disposal to win this war.

And I am the greatest and most dangerous weapon on the Silas World team.  You four will have to contend with an angry Dragon.

My mother and I have had a roller coaster of a relationship.  We’ve had our ups and we’ve had our downs.  I have often disagreed with her tactics and she has often disagreed with my career moves.  But one thing that has never changed is our love for one another.

Being that we are both wrestlers in a wrestling family you can imagine the awkward situations that may arise.  We have, on more than one occasion, actually fought one another.  I am not ashamed to admit that I have never beaten my mother.  Someday, maybe, I will…

I know my mother’s personality and I know how she operates in the ring and both are similar in that she never quits.  She never gives up.  She is a never say die type of person.  My mother is the type of person who will always be on the front line fighting a war, and not just because she believes in the cause either…

…she truly enjoys war.

I don’t enjoy war but she does.  She thrives upon it.  Under Attack will be a war in which she fights on the side of Silas World in a struggle for power.

She’s not in Silas World because she’s been forced and she’s not stupid either.  My mother and Silas Mason happen to be very similar individuals.  They naturally attract one another.  She truly has found her place as a member of Silas World.  I can see that, even if people like the SCW team at Under Attack cannot.

Is she scum, then, just like you people call Silas?  Perhaps.  But she’s definitely not stupid.  She’s smarter than the rest of you and damn sure tougher than the rest of you.

Under Attack is an appropriate name for this pay per view offering because the fact is Supreme Championship Wrestling is really and truly under attack from a fierce fighting force…

…namely Silas World.

I said it once already but I’ll say it again just in case there were some of you not paying attention.  War is NOT fair.  War has NO rules.  Throw the Geneva convention bullshit out the window.  The allies in world war 2 bombed German cities and killed civilians.  That’s not to mention the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

And the allies won the war.

To borrow a line from old sparring partners of mine, war…true warfare…isn’t about rules or playing fair.  True warfare is a TOTAL WAR where you do anything, including the total destruction of your enemy, in order to achieve the end game…

…in order to achieve victory.

Another thing that’s a joke these days is something called diplomacy.  Diplomacy is a joke that no one listens to.  Every major world power is self-interested and only cares about what helps them.  I would go further with that and argue that global politics is about finding ways to take what you want from this planet…

Harmony Fisher and Brittany Lohan, along with myself and Silas Mason, we are Silas World.  We see what we want and we take it.  We want power within SCW and we will have it.  We will take it.  We will pry it out of the cold dead hands of Jake Starr, Shaun Cruze, Merrick Wiseman, and Chris Cannon if we have to.

And we will do anything to get it.  Just ask the lovebirds.  Ask Kari Mysac.

You USED to be a world champion.  You USED to be The Perfect 10.  You threw that all away when you threw away Silas World’s good services.  Now you nothing but a shell of your former self.  Sienna Swann is now The Perfect 10 and you will have to live with it.

But you still have the ability of a world champion and if you want to have any hope of getting your life back you had better play by the rules…the rules of Silas World.  If you don’t then everything will come crashing down around you, Kari.  I hate losing and I will personally do the deed if you cost us this match.

And what about you, Chris Cannon?  What’s Superman gonna do about his Lois Lane?  Is he going to punch her off when the two are in the ring against one another?  Or will one of you be a coward and lie down?

Jake Starr…Shaun Cruze…Merrick Wiseman…you all should have left well enough alone.  You all decided to play hero.  You all decided to poke your nose into a situation that didn’t involve you.  All of you thought that fighting Silas World was a good idea.

At Under Attack, we sisters of Silas World are going to show you just how wrong you are.

I go into every war with the full intention of winning.  I fight every war with the deadliest of intentions of hurting my enemies and leaving the bodies strewn about in lifeless heaps, just like Berlin after the allies were done carpet bombing them, just like Hiroshima and Nagasaki after they were nuked into the stone age.

The same will done to you four at Under Attack.   This will be the night that we finally put a stop to you and your little heroism.  We are going to put you down once and for all and take the power that so rightfully belongs to us.

Hostile Takeover

Hostile Takeover

==========

Apocalypse was when Angelica Jones and Sienna Swann (mostly Angelica) dominated and decimated two no-name local jobbers.  The goal was to introduce the world to Sienna Swann.  Instead what everyone got was Angelica Jones reminding the wrestling world just what she is capable of as she fended off both opponents by herself.

It was also a reminder to Angelica herself, for she had indeed forgotten what she was, who she was, and what her goal was in this industry.  She had truly let herself become to laid back and relaxed, allowing everyone else in the industry to rush on by her.  Apocalypse was when Angelica remembered that she wasn’t just another professional athlete…

…she was Firestar, the high flying, durable, never say die, warrior.

…she was The Golden Goddess, the extremely focused ultimate student of the game.

…she was The Dragon, the deadliest woman in professional wrestling.

The Dragon came out to play in her match against David Helms and as a result she became too crazed, too insane, too focused on hurting him rather than winning.  As a result she got disqualified.  But no matter, she sent a message at Apocalypse, she sent a message at Breakdown, and she was prepared to send yet another message to Shaun Cruze.

For Jones this is now a matter of pride and proving a point.  This is about sending a message and that message will not be sent merely by hurting Shaun Cruze.  Angelica plans on being focused and maintaining her composure.  This time, unlike last time, she will keep The Dragon at bay until she pins Cruze’s shoulders to the mat for the three count or until she makes him tap out.

After that is through, then she’ll let The Dragon come out to play, then she’ll hurt Shaun Cruze.

Lindsey Carter, on the other hand, has never quite fully understood her wife’s obsession with greatness in professional wrestling.  Why?  Why bother with greatness when you have already proven yourself to be awesome?

Carter realizes, though, that Angelica is a competitor, while she comes from a luxurious culture of wealth and privilege.  Carter wouldn’t understand what competition is about and what it means to be the best in the world.  So she has tried to deal with Angelica’s obsession, even to the point of her allegiance with Silas Mason.  She knows what Silas is all about, but if Silas can make Angelica happy by making her a champion then so be it.  Lindsey just wants Angelica to be happy.

The lovely and vivacious Lindsey Carter steps off the bed in a revealing, skimpy lacy black bra and panty combination.  The brunette glides effortlessly across the floor towards the sound of the shuffling in the bathroom.  Instead of taking the gold colored doorknob, she chooses to just push the door open.  Inside she spots her wife, the red-headed vixen known as Angelica Jones, styling her hair to make sure it looks ever so lovely.  One thing odd about this is the blonde coloration of the hair is starting to go away, and her natural redness is returning.  Also Angelica, normally a girl likes to sleep late, is not only awake early but is dressed in her finest business attire, which includes a black pencil skirt, black high heel pumps, a white silky blouse, and a black blazer.  Even while sporting a corporate look, Angelica looks pretty sexy and Lindsey appreciate this view she gets even if for a moment of Angelica’s backside through the skirt.

“Staring is very impolite.”

Angelica’s words startle Lindsey Carter who had been almost in a trance-like state while staring at her lovely, beautiful wife.  Her face grows beet red with embarrassment as she watches Angelica turn around to face her with a knowing grin on her face.

“Well?”

“Well what?”

“You’ve been staring at me long enough.” Jones states as she spins around one time. “How do I look?”

It didn’t take much for Lindsey to get over her embarrassment of the situation.  She simply nods her head, grinning from ear to ear.

“You look great, Angel.”

With her two hands, Jones motions for her wife to approach her.  You don’t have to ask Lindsey twice.  So, without any hesitation, the lovely Carter gracefully makes her way over the threshold and into the bathroom, into the waiting arms of Angelica Jones.  They embrace, their lips slowly guide themselves together, coming closer to one another almost as if guided by gravity, until they lock lips in a passionate kiss.  The pair break off the kiss but remain in each other’s arms.  Lindsey gazes deep into her partner’s eyes.

“That was surprising…”

“Are you complaining?” Angelica asks with a wink.

“Hell no!” Carter exclaims. “I just wasn’t expecting such passion this early.”

Their lips meet for a second time as they resume their kiss.  Finally they break it off and again their eyes meet, almost as if studying one another.  Even though she enjoys the attention this early in the morning, Lindsey Carter still has some questions and her curiosity gets the better of her.

“Uh, Angel, not that I’m complaining about the early attention,” Lindsey starts off sounding a little nervous “but something is wrong.”

“What is it?”

“I can tell something is wrong here, Angel.” She points out, still nervous. “You never are up this early.  And when you dress like that, dressed to kill, then I know you have some plot brewing.”

There is a moment where the two women just stare at one another blankly.  It is Angelica who breaks the ice first, laughing lightly.  Lindsey follows suit and eventually both women are laughing quite a bit.

“You know me all too well…”

“I am a quick study.” Lindsey responds with a wink.

“Indeed you are,” Angelica sighs “but there is one thing that you were not aware of about me.”

“What’s that?”

“Forgotten already?” Angelica chuckles lightly. “I told you last week…my obsession with being a champion.  You weren’t aware of that, were you?”

The brunette is taken aback only for a moment.  She had indeed forgotten about last week.  She had forgotten pretty quickly.  She was surprised when she found out about Angelica’s obsession but grew to accept it, even though she may not understand it.  Angelica Jones is a wrestler, a competitor.  Competitors want to be the best.  Angelica is no different.

“Oh yeah, I did forget.” She laughs lightly. “Silly me.”

“Yeah, silly you.” Angelica frowns. “And unfortunately for you it will cost you.”

“Huh?” Lindsey looks quizzically, confused, not sure what her wife means by that choice of words.

“I asked you last week after informing you of my obsession if you were ok with it?  You said rather emphatically that you were.”

Lindsey recalls this, as she nods her head, informing Angelica through a passionate kiss that she was indeed ok with her obsession.  She didn’t think anything of it.

“Yeah, I remember that…”

“I remember it too, and I thought long and hard about what I told you that night.  After we were done making love, and I went to sleep, I had a vision…it just hit me, I was illuminated!”

“Oh?”

The Dragon is now into it.  She nods her head quickly, enthusiastically.  “I realized that I am the best in the world and that I deserve to be on top of the world.”

Lindsey Carter nods her head. “You got no arguments from me!”

She attempts to lean in and kiss her again but Angelica pushes her away, much to Lindsey’s surprise.

“Good because things are going to change.  Even when it comes to Silas World.  I have no problem helping Sienna Swann if Silas Mason wants to build his empire around her.  If Silas Mason wants me to destroy Kelcey Wallace or Kari Mysac or whatever the hell her name is now, then I’ll do it.  And I have absolutely no problem taking out Shaun Cruze.”

Angelica shuts her eyes, a grin forms across her face. “Funny…I’m fighting Tay-Tay’s brother-in-law.  I hope there’s no friction in Silas World after I beat him half to death!”

Normally a healthy dose of sarcasm is to be expected from Angelica Jones and Lindsey Carter is ok with it.  But this is going a bit too far even for Angelica’s standards.

“ Are you ok, Angel?” Lindsey asks nervously.

“I’ve never been better!” She exclaims loudly. “Like I said, I have had an epiphany and that epiphany told me that I deserve to be the best in this business because I AM the best in this business.  I know who Shaun Cruze is…but I just simply don’t care, Linds.  He is just the next victim and I am going to pulverize him….and I am going to beat him.”

Jones frowns. “I am not someone’s thug.  I am pretty sure Silas doesn’t view me that way but if he does, then I am going to remind him of just how valuable of an asset I am.”

“No one ever thought you were just a thug.” Lindsey kisses her lightly on the cheek. “You are a tremendous wrestler.  Everyone knows that.”

“No, they don’t.” Jones shakes her head. “And that’s another lie from you.”

“Lie?!”

“That’s right, I said a lie.” Jones half-grins as she holds up her hand and starts counting them off. “You lied that you knew everything about me, you lied about understanding why I have to be the best in pro-wrestling, and you’re lying now when you say you and everyone else knows that I am not a thug.”

Lindsey starts backing away slowly. “What’s this about, Angel?  You’re scaring me.”

“Good, because you should be scared.” Angelica chuckles lightly. “I’m even slightly scared myself.  I haven’t been in this mindset in quite a long time.  Who knows what I might do?  But I do know one thing I am going to do.”

“What’s that?”  Lindsey is afraid to ask but she has to know.

“Something I should have done a long time ago.  Our marriage gave me a near limitless supply of resources.  I never used it until recently.”

Lindsey’s confusion changes.  She frowns as she wonders what exactly her wife did with her money.

“What did you do, Angelica?”

“Thanks to the prenuptial agreement you signed I am a part owner of Carter Incorporated.  I made a few phone calls and now OUR company is in possession of a wrestling organization.”

Lindsey arches her brows. “You bought a wrestling federation?!”

“I did…and I’m off to finalize the deal now.” Angelica smirks. “But this is just part of my plan…wait until you hear part two…”

I admittedly am very green when it comes to the wrestling industry.  I did not grow up around this business.  Hell, the closest I came to having any relationship to it was that my arch rival in the business world happened to be a wrestler herself.  That’s it.  Zero experience.  Nada.  Though I am training to be a wrestler, I am learning about the craft and I am learning to appreciate the legacy of those who came before me.

I am learning it from my wife, Angelica Jones.

You people in SCW truly do sicken me.  I am talking to the fans and the roster alike.  You are all so quick to judge her because of who she surrounds herself with rather than try to get to know her for who she is.

So you don’t like Silas Mason?  Who cares?  FORGET HIM!  His name is Silas Mason.  It is NOT Angelica Jones.  You cannot base your opinion of my wife around the actions of her manager.

Do I question his motives and tactics?  Of course I do.  But I also know who the real Angelica Jones is…she tries to do what is right in the long run.  Sometimes she makes mistakes, but who doesn’t?  She only wants what’s best for her family…

…and yes, for herself as well.

If you are going to try and argue that you wouldn’t do whatever it took to better your own career then you’re lying.  As a woman who grew up in the business world I got to see the true heart and soul of men and women from all walks of life.  They were all the same.  They all wanted what’s best for them…as well as their loved ones.

That’s why she does what she does.

You know what else I know about Angelica?  I know that she is among the best wrestlers in the world today.  She is a twelve time world champion and a member of three different halls of fame.  She could retire now and her legacy is forever cemented but she is sticking around, for the love of competition and for the fans.

That’s who Angelica Jones is.

I know her match against Shaun Cruze has the potential to be one of the greatest matches in SCW history.  The most recent world champion against a twelve time world champion.  And I can tell you, Shaun, that her goal isn’t to hurt you or cripple you for Silas Mason’s benefit…

…she just wants to defeat you.

And I am here to warn you that I have not seen her this focused and this determined in quite awhile.  Something has changed.  Something has gotten inside her and amped up her intensity level.  That means you had better bring your A-Game, Cruze.  You had better come prepared for a fight because Angelica Jones is damn sure ready for a war.

At the beginning of their relationship Lindsey Carter had feared Angelica Jones.  She had heard all the stories of the crimes perpetrated by Jones when she snapped, during her angry rages.  But as time went on, even after it was revealed that she had been tricked into selling her entire state to Jones in the process of the marriage, Lindsey still did not fear what Angelica might do.  She still had grown to trust the Boston native, she still had grown to love her and to care for her.  Tonight was the first time in a long time that Angelica had actually frightened Lindsey and yet still, despite that, the lovely wife of Angelica Jones still wants to accompany her today to see how their wealth is being spent.

Lindsey is dressed very much like Angelica in a pencil skirt, white silky blouse, and blazer with matching pumps on her feet, but unlike Angelica her skirt, blazer, and pumps are a brighter color, orange specifically, as opposed to Angelica’s black.

The two women are sitting side by side on a plus black leather sofa in a fancy office somewhere in Miami, Florida.  The red carpeting is soft, so soft it is tempting Angelica to kick her heels off and wriggle her toes in the carpet.  The carpet is red, the walls are a dark brown color.  Two large, pretty plants are next to the large wall sized window where there is a desk overlooking the skyline.  But the beautiful sky scene isn’t enough to make Angelica patient…

“I wish he’d get here already.”

Lindsey chuckles.  Angelica is a wrestler, a competitor, and that is something Lindsey is still learning about.  But the business world, the corporate world, is something Angelica doesn’t know much about.  Lindsey does.  She is used to these waits.

“It’ll be ok, sweetie.  Give him time.”

“I don’t like to be kept waiting.”

Lindsey takes Angelica’s right hand and squeezes it tightly.  In response Angelica turns and gazes deep into Lindsey’s eyes.  Carter just smiles happily, warmly, hoping she can calm her impatient wife down.

“Trust me, the wait will be worth it.”

“Oh I know it will be worth it.” Angelica says with a low growl in her voice. “But that doesn’t mean I have to like this wait.”

Lindsey sighs with a hint of frustration in her voice. “Look Angel, how long did it take you to win a world championship after losing your last one?”

“It was over four years.”

“You waited, and waited patiently might I add, four years until you met Silas Mason and he guided you to a world title.  Then you won another world title on top of that.”

“Right, and now I’m empty handed…”

“But not for long.” Lindsey says with a sly smile on her face. “Soon you’ll have something better than a world championship.”

Angelica nods her head in agreement.  It isn’t as if she has never owned a company before.  Twice she tried her hand at running a federation but both times the lure of competition caused her to step down very quickly.  This time she intends to see it through for the long haul.

“Maybe you’re right…”

“I know I’m right.”  Lindsey leans over and kisses Angelica on her cheek. “You may not have that world title any longer, but soon you will have that whole company…it will be yours…”

“Bringing an entire wrestling company to Silas World…” Angelica smiles as she muses out loud “…top that Kari Mysac…”

Just then the door to the office opens.  Angelica and Lindsey both look on with surprise as the man who enters isn’t who they expected, though it is a man who is dressed for business in a sharp looking double breasted business suit, navy blue in coloration.

“Good evening, ladies.” He extends his hand. “I’m Samuel Jameson, and I…”

“I know who you are.” Angelica refuses to accept his handshake, though Lindsey does. “Why couldn’t your client be here himself?”

“My client had another pressing matter he needed to attend to.” The man, clearly a lawyer, opens the briefcase he was carrying in with him and shows Angelica and Lindsey some paperwork. “But I have the contracts drawn up.  His signature is already there.”

“So it just needs Angelica’s signature?” Lindsey inquires.

“That’s right.”

Angelica stands up and faces the lawyer eye to eye. “I wanted him to be here personally, to watch me take over his company himself…”

“I’m sure, but unfortunately he couldn’t be here.”

Angelica nods. “Cowardly.  But that’s fine, I’m ready to look at the bigger picture.  I know what’s important right now and that is power.  And by signing this contract, I gain a hell of a lot of power.”

“I would imagine so, Ms. Jones,” the lawyer says with a wide grin “this is a well-known promotion you are acquiring.”

Angelica turns and looks at Lindsey. “What do you think, Linds?”

“What do I think?” She grins knowingly. “I think you’d be one of the most powerful women in wrestling…at least Silas World anyway.”

“Then what are we waiting for, ladies?”

The lawyer takes the paperwork out and then goes over to the desk.  He sits down at the desk as Angelica approaches.  He slides the contract and a pen over to her.

“Feel free to read it if you want, Ms. Jones, but I believe your lawyers have already been over it with a fine tooth comb.”

“Indeed they have, and I am done waiting,” she takes the pen and immediately flips to the last page and signs on the dotted line “it’s done.”

The lawyer looks over the paperwork one final time and then at her signature.  He grins and looks back up at Angelica.

“Congratulations, Ms. Jones, you are the new owner of Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER…”

I remember fondly the day that I began my training to become a professional wrestler.  I had the perfect trainer, not some one-dimensional high flyer or one-dimensional technical guy.  I had a well-rounded athlete who knew every aspect of the game, from the submissions to high risk and the mind games that are played as well.  And he taught me everything he knew.  My trainer was very good to me, because even after my training was complete he took that extra step that he didn’t have to take in helping me to get started in the Global Division of Wrestling.

GDW was where I got my start but I didn’t stay there.  I expanded my horizons and my influence to the Millennium Wrestling Alliance, Motor City Wrestling, Future Wrestling Alliance, International Wrestling Championship, Global Championship Wrestling, and finally to Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER.

Yes, I have been everywhere, and everywhere I have been I have won championship gold.  Twelve times across those federations I have been a world champion and I have been inducted into the GDW Hall of Fame, MWA Hall of Fame, and MCW Hall of Fame.  I have done everything a wrestler could hope to do.

During my career I even took a brief sabbatical to try my hand at being a manager.  The protégé I took under my wing was none other than Brittany Lohan.  I hope my fellow Silas World member doesn’t take offense when I take credit for some of her maturity and evolution as a competitor in this business.  Truth is, I wanted to do for her exactly what my old trainer did for me.  I taught her everything I knew.  I managed her to several MCW Motor City Championship matches.  Oh she came so close to the title.  But my patience served me well as I eventually watched her go on to become a MCW World Champion and a GDW World Champion.  My biggest pride was in watching my best friend become champion but there was also a sense of pride knowing that I had indeed been successful as a manager and as a trainer in this industry.

Only one aspect of the game kept me from coming full circle and that was being an executive.  I was the owner of GDW once upon a time but I sold it back to the founder Mike Michaels after the lure of competition brought me back.  I was the general manager of the livewire brand of Motor City Wrestling but yet again I gave that up in order to remain on as a wrestler.

It may sound cheesy but it is a true statement that we are all lifelong learners.  When you stop learning, you are dead.  That is a fact.  For awhile I was dead.  I thought that all I needed to be successful and to achieve my goal of power in this industry was to win titles.  I was thinking short term.  But I learned recently that to truly become powerful and influential you have to think long term.  I also learned that there is more to power than a gold trinket.

Don’t get me wrong, I will be champion again, sooner than you think, but the balance of power has already shifted in my favor, not just in Silas World but in the wrestling industry as a whole.  Because I just gave Silas World a gift.  I gave myself a gift.

I am the new owner of Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER.

That’s right, I am the owner of my own wrestling company.  I now have come full circle.  I have done it all in this industry.  Successful wrestler, successful manager, and now successful executive.  I can truly and honestly say that I…AM…PROFESSIONAL…WRESTLING!

And Shaun Cruze is about to learn that first hand.

You’re good Cruze, there’s no taking that away from you.  You were a former world champion, there’s no taking that away from you.  I will always give credit where credit is due.  You are truly among the greats in Supreme Championship Wrestling.

But as great as you are…I am that much better than you.  That’s not arrogance, that’s confidence.  That is a lifetime of experience that tells me that no matter what you do, no matter what strategy or approach you may use, I will be able to match you move for move, hold for hold, and I will find a way to win no matter what.

To keep me down you have to inflict enough punishment but the thing is, I am too durable for that.  I can take a lot of punishment and a lot of abuse.  I have a high threshold of pain and I know you don’t have what it takes to keep me down for the count.  You may beat me up, you may very well draw first blood, but you will never keep me pinned to the mat and you will never ever make me submit.

The best thing you can hope for is to kill me, Shaun.  Do you have the guts to do that?

Another thing that I know, and something you’re going to learn real quick, is that your talent and ability, which is unmistakable, won’t be enough by itself to carry you to a victory over The Golden Goddess.

I’m smarter than you, Cruze.  That’s another advantage I have over you.  I am just plain smarter than you.  I am always two steps ahead of everyone else, inside and outside of the ring.  I am always thinking, I always have a plan in mind for how to succeed.  I will outthink you, I will outwit you.

Although, now that I think about it, outthinking you shouldn’t be too hard…

Seriously, Cruze, did you get dropped on your head as a child?  Think back to when your brother Orlando was crucified by Sinistry.  Silas World came back the very next Riot and got revenge.  I was there, helping out.  We crucified one of their boys.  Jacob Laymon.

Gotta say, crucifying my old boss was fun…

But why did I do it?  I did it out of respect for Orlando.  Yeah, Silas got his moment in the sun, but for me it was about sticking it to Sinistry.  For me it was about giving them a taste of what they had giving to everyone else.  That’s why I did it.

But if you want to be enemies that’s fine.  I respect Orlando but you make me sick and if you want to fight, if you want a war, I’ll give you a war on Breakdown, and a war is the perfect birthday present for me.

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen…and Shaun…the day after Breakdown, October 2nd, is my birthday.  Happy birthday to me!  And I couldn’t think of any better way to celebrate than to maim Shaun Cruze and kick his ass up and down that arena!

So I am the new owner of FRONTIER…and I get to maim Shaun Cruze…

…happy birthday to me!
